What We’re Looking For
Northern is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our internal and external marketing efforts. In this role, you will create and execute cohesive campaigns that build brand awareness, drive inbound leads, and strengthen our relationships with clients, partners, and prospects. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will translate strategic goals into actionable marketing initiatives. Success will be measured through campaign performance, the timely execution of quarterly initiatives, and effective management of marketing budgets.

Within Ontario* While this role can be remote/hybrid, preference will be given to those who can work from our London ON office on a monthly basis at minimum for collaboration and planning sessions.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive inbound leads through strategies like paid advertising, social media, SEO, email marketing, and content development.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize marketing efforts and ensure measurable results.
- Develop, write, and edit engaging content for a variety of channels, including website landing pages, blogs, advertisements, email campaigns, and press releases.
- Collaborate with external partners to create joint content and co-marketing materials.
- Maintain Northern’s brand standards across all marketing materials, events, and external-facing content to ensure consistency and alignment with our voice and image.
- Organize and manage events such as webinars, workshops, partnership events, and speaker panels, including venue booking, setup, takedown, signage, swag, and meal planning.
- Work closely with internal teams (design, digital marketing, and development) to execute marketing initiatives.
- Partner with leadership, including the VP Revenue, SVP Strategy, and Alliance Manager, to align on goals and maintain an updated marketing calendar.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment between marketing activities and lead nurturing strategies.
- Plan, execute, and oversee budgets for marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Paid Media team while monitoring expenditures to maximize impact.
- Use analytics tools to track and report on marketing performance, identifying areas for improvement and adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Develop and refine processes for data-driven decision-making in marketing initiatives.
Knowledge, Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on demand generation and campaign management.
- Demonstrated success in executing measurable marketing campaigns and managing events.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, paid advertising, and email marketing.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze performance metrics, and deliver actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication, project management, and organizational skills.
Bonus Skills!
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and marketing automation tools.
- Experience writing for B2B and enterprise audiences.
- Proficiency in graphic design or familiarity with design tools (an asset).
