Nexxt Intelligence
Company Description
Nexxt Intelligence is an innovative technology company disrupting the market research industry with conversational AI. We’re at the cutting-edge of natural language processing and generative AI, empowering market researchers to find rich business insights through our AI-powered platform and API. Our mission is to keep humans at the center of AI-powered workflows, and we are dedicated to expanding our product offerings to revolutionize the way businesses make data-driven decisions by understanding humans in all their diversity.
Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Lead to join our team and help shape the future of market research. You will play a central role in driving our engineering team's success and growth. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, planning development projects, providing mentorship, and ensuring the highest quality of code and system operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior full stack engineer to make a significant impact on an AI startup gaining traction with products already on the market, while being generously compensated for their expertise and accountability.
Your primary responsibilities will include the following:
- Leading innovation, excellence, and scalability of the company’s technology systems;
- Supporting the product owner to build a product roadmap and ensure the delivery of features to schedule, including assessing technical feasibility, assisting in product ideation, contributing to feature specification, and managing development sprints;
- Effectively managing the engineering team including allocation and overseeing of tasks, setting of objectives and KPIs, mentoring and creating opportunities for professional development, and conducting performance reviews;
- Spearheading DevOps, infrastructure, quality assurance, observability, and related initiatives to strengthen our technical systems and operations;
- Promoting, developing, and educating engineering team on best practices, code quality standards, and new/emerging technologies;
- Enforcing data privacy and information security policies, reporting to the Data Privacy Officer to ensure compliance with security and privacy standards;
- Growing our engineering team through forecasting future resource needs, scouting and hiring of software engineering talent, presenting in job fairs and creating job postings, conducting interviews, and evaluating candidates.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with strong technical skills and even stronger communication, organization, and management skills. While experience in AI/NLP/LLMs will be an asset, we highly encourage applications of full stack engineers with a passion and curiosity to learn about and build AI-powered systems. The ideal candidate will be able to explain how their skills make them an effective leader, and why leading a small but innovative team of engineers is meaningful and motivating to them.
Your technical skills must include at least the following:
- Strong knowledge and/or certification in cloud computing;
- Deep understanding of network and application security, data protection and governance, and information security standards;
- Proficiency in software design and application architecture (especially event driven architecture and serverless);
- Proven experience building scalable web applications with best practices;
- Ability to think far in advance for the development of complex platforms: spotting problems, bottlenecks and being able to thrive in a quick iterative delivery.

Our technical stack is always evolving, but is centered around standard modern technologies including:
- Tailwind CSS
- React.js
- Node.js
