Nevvon is hiring a Sales Manager

Where the future of work meets healthcare workers - that’s where you’ll find us! We’re here to make sure vulnerable populations are treated by highly trained and motivated healthcare professionals.

Our mission is to empower caregivers and agencies to provide better care by addressing daily challenges and bridging performance gaps in the workplace. Through our innovative platform, we provide on-line training that aim to improve staff recruitment and retention, save time and money for agencies, and ultimately enhance the quality of care.

You’ll report directly to a sales-focused CEO who stays closely connected to the function, joining key deals, forecasts, and occasionally team meetings. If you enjoy working in a collaborative, hands-on environment, you’ll likely find this energizing.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business revenue. Success in this role comes down to three core areas: making thoughtful decisions and taking ownership, continuously developing and elevating the team, and operating with agility in a fast-paced environment. We also encourage our sales leaders to leverage AI in their day-to-day work and help their teams do the same to improve performance and efficiency.

Here’s what you’ll be focused on:

Sales Leadership & Coaching

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team to exceed revenue targets
  • Lead high-impact deal, call, and demo reviews focused on improving outcomes, not just reporting on status
  • Provide in-the-moment coaching using Fathom, creating a tight feedback loop that consistently elevates rep performance week over week
  • Reinforce Nevvon’s sales values, including ownership and delivering on commitments

Executive Communication & Deal Strategy

  • Involve executives in key deals using strong judgment and emotional intelligence
  • Keep leadership informed on high-priority opportunities with clear, timely updates
  • Work closely with a CEO and CCO who stay actively involved in deals, forecasts, and occasionally team meetings. The right person will know how to leverage that access and visibility to drive stronger outcomes and team success.

Recruitment, Onboarding & Development

  • Recruit top sales talent and build a diverse, high-performing team
  • Design onboarding programs to accelerate ramp time and productivity
  • Maintain a high-performance bar by moving quickly and thoughtfully in both hiring and performance management, ensuring the team is set up for success.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development

Sales Enablement

  • Equip the team with tools, templates, and resources to improve performance
  • Continuously refine and evolve the sales playbook based on real-world wins, ensuring it reflects what’s actually driving success
  • Stay actively engaged in HubSpot, Fathom, and AI tools on a daily basis to drive insights, efficiency, and performance
  • Reinforce best practices across discovery, demos, and pipeline management

Execution & Planning

  • Execute monthly and quarterly sales plans aligned with revenue targets
  • Maintain forecast accuracy and accountability to commitments
  • Partner with leadership to refine strategies using data and insights
  • Build processes with intention, focusing on solving real, immediate challenges
  • Regularly evaluate what’s working and be willing to adjust or remove what isn’t
  • Embrace a test-and-learn mindset, with frequent experimentation and consistent accountability to drive progress

Cross-Functional & Partner Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to align efforts
  • Ensure smooth handoff of closed deals with clear documentation
  • Translate customer insights into clear, actionable input for Product and Customer Success, helping shape roadmap priorities and strengthen the renewal motion

Metrics & Performance Tracking

  • Focus on the metrics that truly drive revenue, including pipeline coverage, stage conversion, deal velocity, ramp time to first deal, win rate by segment, and average contract value (ACV)
  • Monitor team productivity and identify areas for improvement

Special Projects

  • Lead strategic initiatives and projects as assigned by leadership

AI & Tooling

  • Use AI as a core part of your daily workflow, from deal prep and account research to message drafting, call analysis, forecasting, and coaching preparation
  • Embed AI into the team’s day-to-day, enabling reps to research accounts, draft outreach, prepare for calls, summarize meetings, and proactively identify deal risk
  • Recognize where AI can accelerate ramp time and where it meaningfully improves rep judgment, not just speed

Stay current on the evolving AI and sales tooling landscape, with a focus on adopting tools that drive measurable impactRequirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, including at least 3 years leading and developing a sales team with measurable impact
  • A proven track record you can clearly articulate, what you inherited, what you changed, and the results you drove over a defined timeline
  • Strong, hands-on experience with HubSpot and Fathom as part of your daily workflow
  • Comfortable and fluent in using AI tools within a sales environment, with the ability to demonstrate how they enhance preparation, selling, coaching, and forecasting
  • Proven ability to lead and develop sales teams, with 1–3+ years of management experience, ideally in a startup or scale-up environment.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot and sales analytics platforms like Fathom.
  • Expertise in technology sales, with a preference for experience in healthcare or home care industries.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process, pipeline management, and performance coaching.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working closely with founders and CEOs who stay involved in the details, and able to turn that access into momentum for the team
  • A strong bias toward action, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and lead by example as a hands-on player-coach
