About the team:
nesto is looking for an experienced Director to grow our Residential Capital Markets team. In this high impact role, you will be responsible for the leadership and operations of the team that manages the residential mortgage product, investor base and pricing.
What you will be doing:
● Single-Family Residential Mortgage Capital Markets Ownership and Development. Lead the Capital Market operations to facilitate the growth of the residential mortgage business line. Work with the technology teams to create a road map and prioritization of deliverables.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to put their stamp on the Canadian Residential Mortgage Market – helping lead Canada’s most innovative and disruptive mortgage platform.
● Identify product needs and align with funding. Own the development of the mortgage product with investors and the residential team. Adding features, expanding the credit box and coming up with new products to move the residential mortgage program forward. Look at data, manage advisor/broker communication, work with the residential leadership team to identify the strategic priorities for mortgage product development.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be creative, disrupting existing assumptions around Canadian mortgages to offer better solutions to Canadian homeowners.
● Pricing Implementation. Manage the team that sets pricing and product details. Create the strategy and tools necessary to ensure pricing optimizes profitability with the residential leadership team.
● Investor Management. Coordinate with investors and internal resources to onboard to mortgage investors. Maintain investor operations, managing regular contact and investor relationships.
● Work with a team of experts and industry leaders in a fun and fast paced environment.
Who we're looking for:
● Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Residential Mortgages, Securitization and/or Product Management
● Highly motivated individual with treasury/capital markets experience
● Good understanding of Canadian Residential Mortgage Industry
● Strong excel, project management and financial modeling skills
