To address the various needs in the Canadian cryptocurrency space, NDAX has assembled a multidisciplinary team with diverse backgrounds, including banking, finance, investment advisory, compliance, engineering, IT, marketing, and more.

As a Growth Marketing and Customer Acquisition Manager at NDAX, your role will be integral to our team’s focus on identifying marketing channels, solutions, tests, and ideas that will efficiently drive new customer adoption, increasing trade volume and revenue. You’ll help us simplify complex terminology, make crypto more accessible to our target audiences, distill our value proposition into conversion-oriented messaging, and help educate the public about digital currencies, trading and the future of finance. We want to empower Canadians to make intelligent trading decisions to grow their crypto portfolios, and we need a well-rounded digital marketer and growth hacker who can help us scale through our next phase of growth.

Your role will include:
  • Working closely with the Head of Marketing to manage and execute the company’s customer acquisition and retention goals with a focus on building and managing our marketing funnel through targeted paid media, affiliate marketing, SEO, email, and more.
  • Managing outreach and relationships with key affiliates and influencers in the Canadian crypto, finance and tech ecosystem, ensuring our affiliate partners are kept updated on all things NDAX and are using their affiliate referral links effectively.
  • Helping plan and coordinate various performance marketing campaigns, including product marketing campaigns, direct response ads, and remarketing across paid search, social and targeted display networks, working closely with external performance media buying agencies and/or contractors.
  • Conducting tests with new marketing channels as a growth hacker, while experimenting with new messaging and creativity to help NDAX acquire crypto traders through its web and mobile apps.
  • Expanding NDAX’s online presence by actively engaging in various online forums (Reddit, Quora, Facebook, etc..) in an effort to help Canadians better understand crypto trading, position NDAX as a leader in the space, and help drive qualified traffic back to our website and app store pages.
  • Managing relationships with external performance-based digital media partners including display networks and niche crypto sites, as well as with affiliate partners/bloggers to create compelling content in line with NDAX’s values, product differentiators and brand values.
  • Ensuring our organic search rankings remain strong and find new ways to further improve our SEO across our website, blog, YouTube channel and more.
  • Optimizing our website and app store pages for higher conversion rates.
  • Helping write persuasive copy to serve a variety of growth marketing initiatives, including product launches, web landing pages, digital ads, customer lifecycle and email communications, and more.
  • Providing regular monthly and quarterly performance reports around our growth and performance marketing by leveraging marketing/revenue attribution and mobile measurement platforms.
  • Fluency in understanding and interpreting strategy, creative/campaign briefs and developing initial concepts.
  • Collaborating with the broader marketing and product teams as needed to push projects through completion on time and within tight deadlines.

To be successful, you will need:
  • A degree or diploma in either marketing, business administration, integrated media and communications, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of growth and performance marketing management with fast-growing tech startups, ideally in consumer tech and fintech.
  • A passion for crypto, some trading/investing experience is a plus.
  • The ability to wear multiple marketing hats and assist in a variety of areas, including product and content marketing.
  • Experience with an in-house tech company, preferably a startup environment or a digital marketing agency working with brands in financial services or fintech space.
  • A strong understanding of how to write ads with a persuasive and conversion-oriented copy for digital media channels, including web, email, social media, online communities, short-form video, display, and more.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO, performance media analytics and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Preference is given to candidates already familiar with crypto, blockchain, and/or investing/trading principles.
