Role Overview: Naming Technologies is seeking to hire a Vice-President, Operations and Product Development to lead the growth and expansion of the engineering team in Canada through SR&ED-approved research and commercialization.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company’s growth and operational objectives and executing personnel plans for the expansion of NTC’s engineering growth in Canada

· Oversee NTC’s commercialization of its domain name technology in Canada

· Oversee the hiring of important technical personnel and senior managers, including Senior Software Developers, Data Scientists and Analysts, Technical Sales, Engineering Managers, and Machine Learning Analysts

· Oversee and administer the SR&ED research program in conjunction with external consultants, contracted CFO and external accounting vendors

· Manage the company’s annual budget as well as establish financial and administrative controls

· Represent NTC at Southern Ontario technology events, with industrial hub partners and with regional education partners

· In conjunction with the CTO/CEO, lead the Product Development team

· Engage, identify and maintain relationships with clients and external partners

· Develop and expand NTC’s domain leasing program

Skills Requirements

Education Requirements: Completion of a Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration or a Related Discipline

**Work Experience Requirement:**Must have at least 5 years of experience as a senior corporate manager

Skills Requirements:

· Must have a demonstrated knowledge of domain name technology, including current valuation technology and practices

· Must have a demonstrated knowledge of corporate accounting and finance

· Must have demonstrated competence in recruiting, training and leading teams of technical staff as well as both senior and middle management positions

Salary: $135,000 CAD/annum

Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week
