Director of Strategic Partnerships
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is pivotal in shaping the future of our company. The Director of Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for identifying, fostering, and nurturing critical partnerships with HVAC OEMs, wholesale partners, and other strategic collaborators.
What You Will Do:
- Identify and Evaluate Partnerships: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential partners in the smart thermostat industry. Assess and evaluate partnership opportunities to align with Mysa's strategic objectives.
- Develop and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with OEMs, wholesale partners, and other strategic partners. Act as the primary point of contact and serve as a trusted advisor to partners.
- Negotiate and Execute Agreements: Lead negotiations and contract discussions to establish mutually beneficial partnerships. Draft and finalize agreements to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic partnership plans that enhance Mysa's market position and drive growth.
- Market Insights: Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Use this information to inform partnership strategies and initiatives.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the performance of partnerships, including key metrics and KPIs. Continuously assess the effectiveness of partnerships and make recommendations for improvement.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets associated with partnership initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Who You Are:
- Proven track record of successfully establishing and managing strategic partnerships in the technology or smart home industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for growth.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing budgets.
- Knowledge of smart home technology and the thermostat industry is a plus.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
