Software Implementor - Oil and Gas
Muddy Boots Online
Role Description
Are you new to software implementations? No problem! At MuddyBoots (MBO), we provide full training to help you become an integral part of our team. As you grow in your role, you'll begin assisting our team and clients through the software implementation process.
The fulltime position is hybrid, with 2 days per week spent in our casual downtown Calgary office and 3 days remote. You’ll get the flexibility of working from home combined with the benefits of in-person collaboration and learning. Parttime is also an option for this position.
Joining the MBO team means much more than being part of our implementation group – it's about being an active voice shaping our company's journey. We're a close-knit, vibrant crew in a small yet dynamic company. The perfect fit for us is someone ready to adapt and grow their role within Muddy Boots.
Responsibilities
As a Software Implementation Specialist, you'll play a key role in getting new clients up and running in the Muddy Boots software. You’ll be part detective, part builder, and part coach - helping configure the system to fit each client’s operations.
- Organize large volumes of client data, including equipment lists, facility schematics, maintenance schedules, and task forms.
- Create or rebuild facility drawings (schematics) using tools within the software - either manually or using our efficient bulk-build process.
- Cross-check data accuracy using multiple sources, including public well databases.
- Work closely with clients to tailor equipment types and forms to meet their specific needs and workflows.
- Set up users, assign dashboards, and configure the software so field teams can record data quickly and easily.
- Build out client schedules for inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Configure run sheets to help operators stay on top of daily priorities.
- Design custom dashboards that give supervisors and managers a clear picture of what’s happening across their operations.
- Import and configure workflows, helping clients move away from paper-based processes.
- Provide hands-on training and ongoing support for new and existing users.
- Act as a point of contact for questions, system updates, or training refreshers.
No two days are exactly alike, and there's always something new to learn. You’ll be fully supported and trained - all we ask is that you come ready to dive in and grow with us.
