About the Senior Graphic Designer role 🔍
- This is a contract role with 40 hours per week, so you will need to be available during 9-5 business hours. You'll join our Slack channels for communication about projects and be expected to join weekly team meetings, 1:1 chats about projects, and ad hoc syncs. Plus, you’ll be expected to work in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- We’ve already built early success with our inbound content, incredible virtual events, and rock-solid product-market fit.
- We will keep blowing up our content, swing bigger with virtual events, and expand our content distribution in 2025.
- For this role, we’re looking for someone to work alongside our Senior Brand Designer to help us with our weekly design workload.
What you'd be doing 🎨
- Deliver high-quality design work with little supervision: You know how to nail the brief and deliver under deadlines. Work will include tasks such as designing landing pages, social ads, visuals for social, branding and images for virtual events, YouTube thumbnails, and other design tasks.
- Work in Figma, Slack, and Adobe: You’ll need to deliver all designs using Figma (as that is what our team uses). This is a contract role so there are no set hours but you will need to join our Slack channels for communication about projects and a few internal design review meetings. Plus, you’ll be expected to work in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Use your illustration skills: This work involves using illustration skills to design elements such as icons that are unique to our brand and not based on stock assets. Illustration skills are a requirement.
- Use your conceptual skills: You are a creative at heart and will help us visually express big ideas. This might include helping us come up with a visual idea that ties together an event series, helping to visualize our product UX in a launch video, or imagine a new brand identity for a new content property.

A note on location: Our team is currently spread across Pacific and Eastern time zones, so we're looking to hire someone based in Canada or the United States who can work Eastern Time hours or has significant overlap with those working hours.
