Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in managing and supporting various human resources functions, including US benefits administration, US policies and compliance, and payroll support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Accountabilities

US Benefits Administration:

  • Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries and issues.
  • Conduct benefits orientation and provide ongoing education to employees about available benefits.

US Policies Compliance:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, and OSHA.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and recommend improvements as needed.

Payroll Support:

  • Assist with payroll processing, including timekeeping, data entry, and resolving payroll discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.

Immigration Support:

  • Provide support for immigration processes, including visa applications, renewals, and compliance.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees, immigration attorneys, and government agencies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Skills/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist role or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Experience with US benefits administration and payroll processing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Experience supporting a global employee base is considered a strong asset, particularly North America and EMEA regions.
