MineSense Technologies
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead vibration data acquisition, instrumentation, and field measurement programs at mine sites.
- Analyze vibration and shock signals (FFT, PSD, SRS, modal analysis, filtering, time series analysis) to characterize dynamic environments.
- Build and run dynamic FEA models (modal, harmonic, random vibration, transient, explicit shock) and correlate results with field data.
- Develop vibration and shock profiles, system limits, and design criteria for extreme mining environments.
- Design mechanical components and assemblies for high vibration, impact, and abrasive conditions.
- Lead development of vibration isolation, damping, and shock mitigation solutions.
- Translate product requirements into engineering specifications, acceptance criteria, test plans, and validation procedures.
- Plan and execute lab testing using vibration tables, shakers, shock rigs, and custom fixtures.
- Conduct field testing, commissioning, and performance evaluation under operational dynamic loads.
- Analyze test results, prepare engineering reports, and drive design improvements for reliability.
- Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, and BOMs in SolidWorks; manage changes through the ERP system.
- Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, software, firmware, data science, field services, supply chain, and manufacturing.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building MineSense’s vibration and dynamics technical capability.
