We are looking to add a Supply Chain Co-Op to our Operations team in Vancouver, BC. Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain, the role is responsible for data collection and analysis throughout the Company supply chain.

Please note this role is for Students or New Graduates ONLY who are available to start ASAP.

Job Responsibilities:

Sourcing:
Support the sourcing process (RFI, RFQ, RFP, etc.) for key contracts to ensure the most competitive supply advantage for Minesense.
Support in developing standard processes for New Supplier Introduction and KPIs for current suppliers.
Support the sourcing team in monitoring performance metrics, project schedule, market intelligence, and other contributing factors affecting supply availability and pricing of products procured.
Support the development of supply strategies and work closely with the Sourcing and Procurement team to strengthen Minesense Supply Chain.
Supply Chain Analytics:
Support developing dashboards for demand forecasts for 500+ SKUs by reviewing sales history, operational demand, and new product introductions.
Monitoring, reporting, and taking all necessary actions to improve and achieve our targets of forecast accuracy, and inventory turns.
Develop a process for Supply review and gap reconciliation. Do we have the right inventory, capacity, and capabilities to meet demand?

Qualifications:

Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or Operations discipline.
Knowledge of Product development processes.
Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Data analytics and statistics courses and diplomas are an asset.

The salary offered to the successful candidate will be based on their experience, knowledge and skills they bring to MineSense, market data based on their location as well as internal equity.
