About the Role

MIMOSA is seeking an experienced and driven Director of Clinical Implementation to lead and scale our field-based clinical team. This is a pivotal leadership role at the intersection of clinical excellence, commercial execution, and customer expansion. The ideal candidate brings deep medical device expertise, a startup mindset, and a passion for transforming how clinicians adopt and utilize innovative imaging and wound care technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Clinical Execution

  • Lead, develop, and manage the field-based clinical implementation team
  • Drive rapid scaling of the clinical onboarding cycle for new and existing customers
  • Expand product utilization by supporting the implementation team in identifying and executing growth opportunities within accounts

Training & Education

  • Own the full sales training and onboarding program, including content development and delivery
  • Manage and administer the internal Learning Management System (LMS) to develop and deploy clinical and sales training content
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales and Medical Affairs to align training initiatives with commercial and clinical strategy
  • Support device training and image interpretation education for clinical stakeholders

Commercial Operations & Customer Experience

  • Partner with Commercial Operations to maximize CRM effectiveness and reporting
  • Manage the Customer Feedback program (collection, analysis, and reporting), providing insights to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) for compliance and customer experience enhancement
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable recommendations that inform product innovation and clinical workflows
  • Coordinate with operations on fleet management activities including transfer orders, demos, and evaluations

Events & Industry Presence

  • Represent MIMOSA at national conferences, regional trade shows, and clinical events
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to maximize presence and lead generation at industry events
Skills and Experience

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in the medical device industry
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing field-based clinical or sales teams
  • Strong proficiency with CRM platforms and data-driven commercial operations
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel regularly to support field team, customer sites, and events

Strongly Preferred

  • Startup or high-growth company experience - comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration is essential
  • Background in wound care and/or medical imaging technologies
  • Experience managing an LMS platform and developing blended clinical/sales training curricula
  • Familiarity with customer feedback systems and translating VOC data into strategic action
