- Continuously refine on-page elements (headlines, CTAs, layout) and user flows across our blog, landing pages, and resource pages, creating user journeys that drive sign-ups and meaningful engagement.
- Manage a combination of freelance contributors and AI-driven content tools to produce high-volume, on-brand content, while maintaining quality standards and aligning each piece with Method’s overall SEO goals.
- Conceptualize, produce, and promote in-depth content pieces (e.g., eBooks, whitepapers, how-to guides) that demonstrate Method’s expertise, generate leads through gated strategies, and strengthen our authority in the CRM and QuickBooks ecosystem.
- Develop and experiment with new strategies (AI search optimization, YouTube SEO, newsjacking, etc.) and keep Method’s organic strategy in line with emerging trends and algorithm updates.
- Identify high-potential off-page publications and communities (reddit, niche forums, social groups) where our ICP congregates and craft a plan to engage authentically—answering questions, sharing insights, and softly guiding potential customers toward Method’s solutions.
- Monitor, analyze and report on content performance metrics, including website traffic, engagement, lead generation, and conversion rates, optimizing content strategy for continuous improvement.
- Partner with design, product marketing, and sales to ensure our SEO content aligns with broader campaigns and product launches.
- Create content briefs, manage production schedules, review and edit content for quality and alignment with SEO best practices.
- You have 3+ years of experience in B2B or SaaS marketing with a deep SEO focus.
- You are a writer first and foremost, with a strong background in content creation, and a proven ability to create compelling narratives that resonate with our audience.
- You can diagnose a traffic drop in Google Search Console, geek out about algorithm updates, and run an SEO audit from end to end.
- You’ve managed off-page SEO, building backlinks, partnering with industry leaders on content, and tactically promoting a brand on external properties.
- You’re comfortable with high-volume content production—managing freelancers, setting briefs, and editing for quality.
- You’re data-driven and enjoy reporting on metrics—like organic traffic, keyword rankings, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
- You love experimentation and are ready to test new ideas beyond the standard B2B SaaS playbook.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or other accounting/ops tools.
- You’ve engaged or built online communities—whether as a moderator, contributor, or strategist—and understand how to add real value without spamming.
- A knack for turning complex topics (like accounting or workflow automations) into compelling, SEO-friendly articles.
- Experience building and maintaining WordPress websites

- Review our current SEO content strategy—understand what’s working, what’s not.
- Familiarize yourself with existing community channels and potential forums.
- Set up recurring 1:1s with key team members.
- Conduct a thorough SEO audit—prioritize gaps and propose improvements for the remainder of the year.
- Create and standardize freelancer workflows—briefs, review processes, timelines.
- Take over reporting on SEO metrics (traffic, rankings, etc.).
- Develop a community engagement plan—where to invest time and how to measure ROI.
- Identify one underperforming topic and refresh or re-launch it with an SEO-first approach.
- Fully own SEO content production, publishing blogs and gated assets, and reporting on their performance.
- Launch or expand community engagement initiatives—actively posting/monitoring in at least one forum or group.
- Plan and execute one channel experiment for community building (e.g., AMA, micro-campaign).
- Integrate with other marketing teams—ensuring alignment with product launches and brand messaging.
- Present a comprehensive SEO & community roadmap for the next 6-12 months.
