Our Development team is growing, and we’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer with a Front-End Specialization who is passionate about building high-quality features, mastering modern front-end technologies such as React, and contributing to scalable backend systems with c#/.NET.

The Role
As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll play a key role in developing engaging front-end user experiences, building reliable backend systems, and driving growth through experimentation and data-driven decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features, optimize performance, and ensure seamless user journeys.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain engaging user experiences using React, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Develop backend services with C#, .NET Core, and Web APIs.
- Manage and optimize data with SQL/NoSQL databases and ORM frameworks.
- Leverage cloud infrastructure (AWS) to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Make data-informed decisions based on user analytics data and customer feedback.
- Provide technical insights to improve pipelines, testing, and monitoring practices.
- Implement rapid development techniques, including mockups, prototypes, and proofs of concept (POCs).
Non-Technical Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with QA engineers, product managers, and designers to refine requirements and align on technical solutions.
- Actively contribute to team ceremonies (e.g., standups, grooming, retrospectives, and architecture reviews). Communicate updates, blockers, and solutions clearly within the team.
- Participate in cross-functional discussions to drive product improvements.
- Advocate for the user, ensuring products are intuitive and user-friendly.
What You Bring
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Core (7/8), and Web APIs.
- Advanced experience with React, HTML5, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, ORM frameworks, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
- Proficiency with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).

Preferred Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in software development, ideally in production-level applications.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent training/experience.
- Expertise in rapid prototyping, mockups, and POCs.
- Experience with product analytics tools and A/B testing frameworks.

In your first 30 days, you will:
- Onboard and acclimate with the Development team. Including tailored 1on1s.
- Complete Method’s Bootcamp.
- Understand Method’s values, tools and best practices and how our teams collaborate to drive results.
- Learn and become an expert of our internal communication tools, norms, and practices.
- Start making small improvements based on the product backlog or refactoring code to improve readability, testability, and maintainability.
In your first 60 days, you will:
- Contribute to the Development team's culture, processes, and best practices.
- Become more confident with code ownership and deploying to production.
- Assist the team with daily releases and monitoring changes.
- Help other developers within code design and decision making.
In your first 90 days, you will:
- Start assuming more autonomy and finding small ways to practice ownership across the platform.
- Work closely with your Manager to explore goals for the rest of the year.
- Provide feedback in Grooming sessions on best practices for design and story implementation.
Hybrid Policy
At Method we are working on a hybrid schedule. Employees work from the office 2-3 times each week from our office in downtown Toronto.
