Mejuri is the category-defining fine jewelry brand redefining luxury, your way. Feeling disconnected from an industry that typically markets to men, co-founder and CEO Noura Sakkijha leveraged her learnings as a third-generation jeweler to rethink the way women purchase jewelry—for themselves. In only seven years, and with a team of over 75% women, Mejuri has shipped over one million orders and opened retail stores across the globe, all while introducing new products weekly.
As part of Noura’s original vision to empower women to invest in themselves, the brand launched the Empowerment Fund to support underrepresented women and non-binary individuals with the tools to empower themselves. Mejuri continues to reach new customers through exciting community initiatives and expansion into international markets, such as the UK, Australia and Germany.
We are a team of retailers, creatives, technologists and strategists, and we are looking for someone special to join our team.

We pride ourselves in leveraging data-driven insights to enhance customer experience and drive business growth. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented Senior Data Product Manager to lead our data strategy, and manage our data products and platforms.

As the Data Product Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our data strategy while managing our data stack. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure stakeholders have the necessary tools and insights to optimize their business operations and drive strategic initiatives.

Our ideal candidate (hopefully you!) will have a passion for driving forward ambitious goals, the vision to be able to shape a roadmap and ability to dive into the details to get things done.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the lifecycle of data products from ideation to execution and maintenance. Define requirements, prioritize features, and oversee development and deployment of data products and platforms.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the business objectives, leveraging data to enable growth, improve customer experience, and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Work with the Data Engineering Manager on creating the roadmap and managing the agile ceremonies, tasks and workflows.
  • Partner with merchandising, retail, marketing, operations, product management, and other teams to understand their data needs. Provide actionable insights and ensure they have access to the tools and data necessary for informed decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance. Implement measures to improve data quality and reliability across the organization.
  • Monitor the performance of data products and platforms. Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization based on data-driven insights.
  • Lead cross-functional projects involving data initiatives. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to implement solutions that drive business outcomes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and analytics. Apply this knowledge to continuously evolve our data capabilities.

The Scope:

  • Data Platform: workflow management, streaming, feature store, data-warehouse, dev-ops, experimentation, analytics pipelines, ML-ops
  • Data Acquisition: Integration of third-party enrichment services (e.g. geo-data)
  • Governance Program: GDPR
  • Internal Tools: Mejuri-pulse, pacing, experimentation-measurement, pipeline tracking
  • Other: operations products, financial workflows, product metadata management, and inventory management
  • May also include:
    • Customer Data Platform: CDP, Event Tracking, User Profile
    • Marketing Technology: ESP, pixels, catalog management

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in data product management, data strategy, or a similar role within a direct-to-consumer brand or e-commerce company.
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, databases, and data management principles. Experience with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • You are super detail oriented and analytical — you’re comfortable delving deep into data and you won’t rest until you apply your learnings to drive business goals.
  • You love collaboration, actively seeking out different perspectives and folding new ideas into a cohesive vision that meets project ultimate goals.
  • You have a basic understanding of SQL and know how to leverage tools like Looker and Mixpanel to build dashboards and reports for different business purposes and functions.
  • You know how to roll up your sleeves, pull the right people together, and get stuff done!
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and a track record of driving successful data-driven initiatives.
