Mejuri is the category-defining fine jewelry brand redefining luxury, your way. Feeling disconnected from an industry that typically markets to men, co-founder and CEO Noura Sakkijha leveraged her learnings as a third-generation jeweler to rethink the way women purchase jewelry—for themselves. In only seven years, and with a team of over 75% women, Mejuri has shipped over one million orders and opened retail stores across the globe, all while introducing new products weekly.
As part of Noura’s original vision to empower women to invest in themselves, the brand launched the Empowerment Fund to support underrepresented women and non-binary individuals with the tools to empower themselves. Mejuri continues to reach new customers through exciting community initiatives and expansion into international markets, such as the UK, Australia and Germany.
We are a team of retailers, creatives, technologists and strategists, and we are looking for someone special to join our team.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and culturally savvy Leader in Culture Marketing to join our New York team. This individual will understand and influence fashion and cultural trends, positioning Mejuri as a leading and relevant brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trend Analysis & Strategy: Stay ahead of cultural, fashion, and style trends to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Brand Perception & Awareness: Enhance and maintain Mejuri's brand perception by focusing on the intersection of product and culture.
  • Community Engagement: Build relationships with cultural influencers and trendsetters to amplify Mejuri's presence.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate on timely and relevant content that resonates with our audience and reflects cultural trends.
  • Event Planning: Execute significant cultural events that position Mejuri at the heart of relevant conversations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with PR, social, brand creative, fashion office, insights, go-to-market, and retail teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Market Research: Apply best practices from leading cultural marketing brands to Mejuri's strategy.
  • Organizational Impact: Ensure a consistent and culturally relevant brand narrative across all touchpoints.


  • 5+ years in culture marketing, brand strategy, or a related field within fashion or lifestyle industries.
  • Based in New York with a strong network in the city's fashion and cultural scenes.
  • Strong perspective on emerging trends and cultural movements in order to be able to position Mejuri in a forward-thinking manner
  • Deep understanding of cultural trends, fashion, style movements, and lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behaviours
  • Strong analytical skills, with an ability to break down trends, analysis and market insights
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Innovative with a knack for culturally relevant marketing strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Background:

  • Experience with leading brands known for cultural marketing excellence.
  • Background in social media strategy, PR, or event planning.
  • Strong understanding of the jewelry market or parallel industries,
