Mejuri is the category-defining fine jewelry brand redefining luxury, your way. Feeling disconnected from an industry that typically markets to men, co-founder and CEO Noura Sakkijha leveraged her learnings as a third-generation jeweler to rethink the way women purchase jewelry—for themselves. In only seven years, and with a team of over 75% women, Mejuri has shipped over one million orders and opened retail stores across the globe, all while introducing new products weekly.
As part of Noura’s original vision to empower women to invest in themselves, the brand launched the Empowerment Fund to support underrepresented women and non-binary individuals with the tools to empower themselves. Mejuri continues to reach new customers through exciting community initiatives and expansion into international markets, such as the UK, Australia and Germany.
We are a team of retailers, creatives, technologists and strategists, and we are looking for someone special to join our team.

Your focus will extend from connecting Innovation strategic priorities to tangible projects, effectively translating and driving these priorities into action. Serving as a passionate advocate for human-centered design, you'll not only represent the POD but also operate as a subject matter expert, fostering productive relationships with our internal partners. You will be grounded in the voice of the customer, consistently anticipating and advocating for their needs.

What you'll do:
  • Collaborate with the Senior Product Manager to develop a comprehensive approach and design strategy for the DotCom vision.
  • Conceptualize and design solutions for complex business challenges with a human-centered perspective, demonstrating expertise in driving user research and usability testing.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and functional prototypes to effectively communicate and test design ideas.
  • Independently run usability and research tests, showcasing thought leadership in backing up roadmap decisions and framing problems with a data-informed design approach.
  • Think strategically for long-term impact, considering technical constraints and aligning designs with business goals.
  • Champion continuous improvement of site performance and user experience through hypothesis testing and experimentation across the full problem space.
  • Manage design reviews and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Research, Product Management, Engineering, Creative, and Marketing throughout the design process and product lifecycle.
  • Regularly present design concepts and rationale to Digital Product and cross-functional leadership, setting expectations for a senior-level role.
  • Identify opportunities to elevate the brand, ensuring consistent reflection of brand standards in all design deliverables.
  • Prioritize work and meet deadlines independently, demonstrating an understanding of the relative strategic importance of projects.
  • Focus on holistic flow design, paying meticulous attention to feature details, edge cases, and considering the needs of adjacent teams such as Creative and Marketing.
  • Manifest impeccable visual taste to embody the brand identity in all designs, with a focus on improving conversion goals.
  • Leverage expertise in working with design systems, contributing to the overall design framework as part of the senior-level responsibilities.

Who you’ll work with:

Within the company, your key partnerships will predominantly be with the Senior Product Manager and the Engineering team. Your role involves fostering relationships with stakeholders in marketing, brand creative, and merchandising. Collaborating closely, you'll seek to understand their needs and priorities, all the while upholding our standards for creating optimal web experiences. Reporting to the Director, Product Design, this position ensures seamless coordination across teams for effective digital product development.
