We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our finance team at Marble. In this role, you will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting key business decisions. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and cash reconciliation processes on a weekly basis.
- Daily operating cash flow and working capital management, including balance transfers between internal accounts, customer account balances and customer deposits management
- Lead the month-end close process, including journal entry reviews, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare consolidated monthly financial statements and provide key insights.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors during the year-end audit.
- Collaborate with external firms and internal teams on sales tax, transfer pricing, and other tax-related matters.
- Document and improve financial processes to enhance business continuity.
- Provide support for the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Manage payroll and employee expense reimbursements on a semimonthly basis.
- Support financial planning & analysis (FP&A), including financial modeling, scenario planning, and KPI tracking.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial compliance and risk mitigation.
- Work closely with leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within finance operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- CPA designation required.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and strong understanding of US GAAP.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Able to work in our downtown Toronto office 1-2 days a week.
