What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Brand Manager who has a passion for developing meaningful relationships, stays current with popular culture, and can manage the process of developing and launching licensed products from major entertainment brands. In this role you will be expected to partner with licensors from around the world, helping them create one-of-a-kind products for their fans! You will also be joining one of Canada’s fastest-growing start-up companies!
Your Key Responsibilities
- You will manage a portfolio of brands, orchestrating the development and sale of related licensed products
- Ensure all timelines are adhered to, financial goals are achieved, and that all stakeholders have the information they need to succeed.
- Work with our marketing team to support activities including (but not limited to) digital media, social media, influencer marketing, packaging, and events.
- Drive key brand operations including forecasting, pricing, costing, and profitability analysis in order to deliver brand financial goals.
- Present new brand and product lines, strategies, plans, and results to the internal sales team and external partners
- Coordinate with licensors to ensure alignment on key milestones, forecasts, calendars, and other critical details. Strong collaboration and communication with licensors is essential for this role.
What You Bring
- At least 2 years of experience in a brand management or licensing role
- A passion for playing video games and pop culture
- Entrepreneurial - you take ownership of your work and view it as more than a job
- Extraordinary listening, communication, and organizational skills
- Excellent speaker, presenter, and problem solver
- Grit and the ability to work within an ambiguous environment

Salary Band: $75-85k CAD per annum plus incentives between $5-10k CAD for total cash compensation between $85-95k CAD. Individual salaries will be dependent on unique skills, experience and qualifications.
