What You Will Accomplish:
- Drive delivery of impactful, customer-focused software in an Agile setting;
- Mentor team members and support their technical and career development;
- Shape team structure and processes to boost engagement and productivity;
- Encourage experimentation and continuous improvement across the team;
- Help attract and retain top engineering talent through thoughtful recruitment;
- Set direction on coding, testing, and architectural standards;
- Advocate for engineering best practices in planning and execution;
- Help the team understand how their work fits into the bigger picture;
- Collaborate on defining and evolving the technical product vision.

Qualifications:
- 7+ years in software architecture, development, and/or testing;
- Proficient in C#, .Net, and adaptable to new programming languages;
- 2-3 years in leading a small to medium sized software development team;
- Proven ability to mentor, coach, and elevate team performance;
- Builds trust across cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
- Ability to synthesize business and engineering needs to prioritize effectively;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and situational leadership abilities;
- Embraces change with a positive, solution-oriented mindset;
- Builds team culture focused on continuous improvement.
Nice To Have Skills:
- Demonstrated presentation skills and team communication skills;
- Previous management experience.

- The Compensation Range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. If you are applying for this role outside of the primary location and you are selected for an interview, the Talent Acquisition Partner can share more information with you. If the compensation structure for the role includes an incentive component (ie. most Sales roles) the range below represents total target compensation (TTC) (base salary + variable)
Compensation Range:
- MIN: $137,900 - MID: $197,000 - MAX: $236,400 CAD
