- Define and champion the overall UX vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company-wide strategic objectives, product roadmaps, and brand guidelines. Plus, measure and report on UX’s progress towards these goals.
- Drive a user-centered design culture throughout the organization, advocating for the user in all product development stages.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and UX trends, integrating relevant advancements into our design strategy.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse and high-performing team of UX Designers and UX Researchers.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative design environment where team members are empowered to do their best work and grow professionally.
- Establish clear performance metrics, conduct regular reviews, and support career development for the UX team.
- Oversee resource allocation and project prioritization for the UX team, ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality design artifacts.
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, from user research and ideation to prototyping, user testing, and final UI implementation.
- Facilitate strong collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of UX into the entire product lifecycle.
- Define and optimize UX processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability of design efforts.
- Champion and scale user research initiatives to deeply understand user behaviors, needs, motivations, and pain points.
- Establish metrics for UX success and regularly report on the impact of design decisions on user engagement, satisfaction, and business outcomes.
- Act as a compelling advocate for UX principles and user needs to senior leadership and across the organization.
- Present design strategies, research findings, and prototypes effectively to diverse audiences, influencing decision-making at all levels.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in UX/Product Design, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role managing and mentoring UX Research & Design teams.
- Proven experience defining and executing UX strategy for complex digital products at scale.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a track record of successful product launches and significant impact on user experience and business outcomes.
- Deep expertise in all facets of the UX design process, including user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and visual design principles.
- Proven ability to define, implement, and analyze UX performance metrics to measure design effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and demonstrate business value.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and research to inform design decisions and measure impact.
- Bachelor's degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Product Design, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Travel: 25%.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience in SaaS.
- Experience working with large-scale data and/or AI-driven products.
- Experience contributing to or managing a comprehensive design system.

- The Compensation Range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. If you are applying for this role outside of the primary location and you are selected for an interview, the Talent Acquisition Partner can share more information with you. If the compensation structure for the role includes an incentive component (ie. most Sales roles) the range below represents total target compensation (TTC) (base salary + variable).
- MIN: $163,100 - MID: $233,000 - MAX: $279,600 CAD
