Your Team
The Marketing team is responsible for developing and leading programs at all stages of the marketing funnel, to drive demand and create opportunities for our global sales team.
Your Role
As the Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting a team of marketing managers with the planning, execution and analysis of marketing campaigns and programs that drive sales for our organization. The role will focus on customer acquisition programs, customer retention initiatives, sales enablement, and supporting international events and conferences. Main responsibilities of the role include working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to project manage and execute multiple marketing campaigns, across all stages of the marketing funnel, and provide relevant data to optimize and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns.
What You Will Accomplish
· Interact with global, digital, vertical and product marketing team members to build and support customer-based marketing activities and drive lead generation opportunities.
· Support international sales and marketing conference/tradeshows and owned events including content, asset coordination, translation management, lead retrieval/upload and post event surveys and email campaigns.
· Lead the global webinar program and execute our largest virtual demand generation conference (Magnet Virtual Summit 2025) by leveraging the ON24 webinar platform.
· Leverage event management systems (Cvent), marketing automation systems (Pardot) and customer relationship management systems (Salesforce) to stage, execute, track, and manage various global marketing programs.
· Manage all virtual event technology requirements including leveraging our preferred webinar planform, ON24 and Zoom Webinars where applicable.
· Track key metrics and deliver reporting and analytics for all marketing programs.
· Manage inventory by ordering, shipping & distributing branded materials for all tradeshows and events across the North American, EMEA and APAC regions.
· Manage the operational elements associated with the overall marketing budget and expenses (creation of POs, monthly accrual and reconciliation process, reporting to upper management).
· Coach, mentor and train marketing co-op student to ensure weekly processes are effective and continuously maintained and improved.
· Stay up to date with the latest lead generation tools, techniques, and best practices, and recommend their implementation when appropriate.
What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for someone who checks off most, but not all, of the boxes listed in “skills and experiences”. It’s more important to us to find candidates who can display indicators of success through skills they have developed and experiences they have been a part of, than to find folks who have ‘been there, done that”. We want to be part of your development journey, and we’ll learn as much from you as you learn from us.
There are a few must haves, but we will keep that list short:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Commerce
· Innovative and resourceful with the interest and desire to learn and adopt new marketing strategies and tactics
· Strong customer-service orientation
· Ability to take ownership of projects, as well as multi-tasking multiple concurrent priorities
· Superior attention to detail, creative problem solving, time-management and organizational skills
Nice To Haves:
· Candidates who have previous experience working within a marketing department may be preferred, with typically 1-2 years on average.
· Experience with event technology including Cvent, Zoom and ON24 and marketing automation platform (e.g. Pardot) an asset
