The Sales Operations Lead will be responsible for improving operational efficiencies and processes in the day-to-day activities of our sales workforce. In addition to overseeing sales processes and tools, they will also manage a team of Sales Support Coordinators with the goal of scaling the capacity of the sales organization.

What You Will Accomplish

  • Optimize the sales process by identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending change.
  • Manage the functionality of existing sales tools, including license management and the evaluation and implementation of new tools to improve effectiveness of the sales organization.
  • Lead a team of Sales Support Coordinators who provide day-to-day support to our sales workforce with activities such as opportunity workflows and troubleshooting errors in the sales process.
  • Support the deal success process by working cross-functionally with various stakeholders to expedite deal closure.
  • Liaise with Business Systems in logging change requests, backlog prioritization, and overseeing the testing activities required to release changes to production.
  • Collaborate with Order Operations to improve efficiencies in the opportunity closed-won process.
  • Work closely with the Global Revenue Enablement team to develop and deliver training on processes and policies, as well as ongoing enablement to the Sales team.
  • Partner with the Regional Revenue Operations Managers to understand the needs of sales leaders and their teams.
  • Support corporate merger and acquisition processes and activities.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

What We Are Looking For

  • We’re looking for someone who checks off most, but not all, of the boxes listed in “skills and experiences”. It’s more important to us to find candidates who can display indicators of success through skills they have developed and experiences they have been a part of, than to find folks who have ‘been there, done that”. We want to be part of your development journey, and we’ll learn as much from you as you learn from us.
  • There are a few must haves, but we will keep that list short:
  • Proven history in managing and improving sales processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with and support a diverse team.
  • Ability to independently manage deadlines and handle multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills, including various techniques in data analysis and report development across a variety of tools, such as MS Excel.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, and other sales tool platforms.
  • Previous experience leading a team would be an asset
