Who Are We?

Machobear Studios is an established tech start-up based in Vancouver. We are the creators of liv.rent, an all-in-one platform that connects tenants with landlords. In addition to developing and maintaining our platform, we work on a variety of exciting projects for our clients within the real estate and food industries, providing innovative tech solutions that meet their unique needs.

We are on the lookout for a highly motivated Junior Developer who is eager to learn, problem-solve, and isn’t afraid to dive into new technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Set up, optimize, and maintain automation workflows for internal processes and product features
• Write and customize JavaScript functions to support automation logic
• Collaborate across teams to identify opportunities for automation
• Support cross-functional teams as needed to build and customize high performing web applications
  
  

What You Bring Us:

• You’re a tinkerer and bring experience developing your own passion projects
• Exposure to frontend frameworks
• Hands on experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Passion for new technologies
• Team player with strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
• You are an out-of-the-box thinker; curiosity and creativity are what sets you apart from the rest
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Bonuses:

• Experience setting up automation workflows
• Experience with AI tools or using AI in automation workflows
• Understanding of APIs, including authentication and data handling
• Familiarity with integration tools or custom-built workflows
