Objectives & Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive New Business: Identify and generate qualified opportunities through outbound sales, including prospecting, research, cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn social selling, with a focus on scheduling meetings to support the Sales Team
  • Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals while contributing to annual sales team revenue targets.
  • Manage CRM: Keep accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce and other sales tools, including detailed notes on conversations, research, and statuses for different leads
  • Continuous Learning: Invest in your personal and professional growth to maximize your current and future success. Set yourself up for career advancement within our growing sales team

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Coachability: Ability to receive feedback positively and quickly implement changes. You are a fast learner and take initiative
  • Resilience: Able to persevere through challenges and setbacks while maintaining a positive attitude and drive to succeed
  • Curiosity: A natural desire to learn more, ask questions, and understand why things work the way they do. You demonstrate a willingness to research on your own
  • Confidence: You’re not afraid of rejection or making mistakes. You take accountability and keep moving forward
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Clear Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication with great attention to detail
  • Passion for Podcasts: A genuine enthusiasm for podcasts to support our mission

“Nice to Have” Skills & Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education (Bachelor’s, Associate’s, or Diploma)
  • Background or interest in Accounting, Finance, Education, Business Development, or Marketing
  • Experience in a role where there are frequent ‘tough’ conversations (customer service, door-to-door sales, fundraising etc.)
  • Experience in competitive fields (sports, arts, etc.)

Please note this is a flexible hybrid role based out of Toronto, Canada. Employees will be expected to be able to commute to the office 1-2 times a week. However, for training & onboarding purposes, the in-office expectation time will increase.
