Loopio is looking for a dynamic People Operations Generalist to join our People Operations team. Loopio has scaled from 70 employees to over 300 people in the last five years, and our People Operations team has grown as well! Our People Operations team is a vital partner in all aspects of the business, supporting managers and employees on all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
You’ll report to the Director of People Operations and support our team in bringing our People initiatives to life. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our Senior People Partners in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, where you’ll play a key role in supporting the operational backbone of our people processes. You will also collaborate with the rest of the People Operations and Talent team to deliver a world class employee experience (or ‘Loopers’, as we call them!) You will be a key part of rolling out People projects to help build a world-class, inclusive, equitable remote workplace where Loopers love to work.
* This is a 6-month contract with an anticipated start date in January, 2025.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate and assist in planning employee engagement initiatives and activities.
  • Help organize company-wide events, wellness programs, and team-building efforts to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Contribute to optimizing HR processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, documentation, and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide support to Senior People Partners on key HR projects and initiatives, including areas like talent development, performance management, and salary reviews.
  • Support exit and offboarding processes, including coordinating exit interviews and ensuring proper documentation.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Collaboration comes naturally to you; you understand that true success comes with working as a team
  • 2-4 years working in the People Operations/Human Resources field as a People Operations Generalist, preferably in complex or high-growth organizations
  • Focused on staying organized and are detail-oriented
  • Picks up HR tech stack quickly (at Loopio, we use BambooHR as our HRIS, along with other People platforms such as Lattice, Pave, Lessonly, Lever, G-Suite)

Where You’ll Work

  • Loopio is a remote-first workplace because we recognize the advantages of working flexibly. We have Hub Regions spanning across Canada, UK, and India, which means that employees live and work remotely within a 300 KM radius of Toronto (within Ontario),Vancouver (within British Columbia), Ahmedabad (within Gujarat), Pune (within Maharashtra), and London (UK) and work within regular business hours in their timezone.
  • Loopio has two flexible co-working locations available to Loopers in ON and BC. Those based in ON have the flexibility of working out of our convenient coworking space located in the heart of Downtown Toronto and a 12-minute walk from Union Station. BC Loopers have the option to work from our co-working office in Gastown Vancouver. It is whatever works best for you!
  • You’ll collaborate with your teams virtually (we’re just a Zoom call away!) and have established core sync hours and focus time during the workday to enable us to work smarter together
