Loopio is a workplace that unleashes learning & growth opportunities for our Loopers. We provide autonomous, challenging work that allows each employee to master their craft. We attract and retain people who are naturally curious, have grit and are eager to grow and build their careers. At Loopio, we genuinely support each other, because true success comes from working as #oneteam.
If building delightful web experiences excites you, read on! We’re looking for a creative and ambitious Web Design Manager to join our Brand & Communications team (the creative muscle of the marketing department).
As a company, we’re on a mission to help high-growth companies turn their RFP response process from a revenue blocker into a competitive advantage.
In this role, you’ll be a key driver for our most important digital asset: Loopio's website. From developing creative designs, to keeping up with the latest web standards, you'll transform ideas into memorable landing pages that help drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.
You will also partner with various stakeholders to create a standout website experience for our customers, prospects, and potential employees.
This contract position will be eligible for the benefits, time off program, and competitive compensation that full-time employees receive. The contract dates will be August 6, 2024 to September 9, 2025 (13 months).
What You'll Be Doing
- Creative & Accessible Design: Employ industry, accessibility, and design best practices to conceptualize and build engaging landing pages across the prospect and customer journey
- Project Management: Maintain the corporate website across a variety of projects, ensuring clear and timely communications with stakeholders.
- Lead Website Updates: Leverage approved messaging and designs to build and maintain areas of the website through WordPress, including Visual Studio, as well as occasional HTML and CSS work.
- Overall Technical Maintenance: Update and maintain the website’s function and stability across mobile and desktop devices. Monitor various environments from a technical standpoint, ensuring that integrated technologies, plugins, and CMS cores are up-to-date and functioning.
- Optimization: Conduct regular website audits and develop agile optimization strategy, in partnership with the revenue marketing team, for speed and scalability of site pages.
- Server Environment Maintenance: Ensure that server environments are up to date and backed up. You will coordinate with IT to ensure that Sandbox (Dev), Staging, and Production (Live) environments are synched and secure. You have an understanding of cloud-based server environments.
- Contribute to Digital Strategy: Identify and enhance conversion rates, user journeys, A/B tests, SEO, and paid media assets to support marketing’s goals.
- Collaboration: Partner with various stakeholders to incorporate brand and product messaging into Loopio's website. You’ll also be working with a developer to build and maintain the backend of the website.
What You'll Bring to the Team
- 3-5 years of experience in website development, design, and/or maintenance or management. Any experience as part of a marketing or communications team or function is a bonus, as is direct experience in the SaaS B2B technology space, or at a fast-growing startup.
- Technical Coding Skills: You’re familiar with WordPress development, both creating front-end designs and backend interfaces for non-technical team members. You also have a strong understanding of CSS, HTML5, and Javascript.
- Passion for Design and UX: You know how to build things that function—but you also know how to make them look great while keeping accessibility standards and the user journey top of mind. You’re comfortable creating wireframes (with some art direction from the Senior Manager, Graphic Design) and preparing approved mockups to hand-off to developers. You’re also proficient in tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
- Website Management and Maintenance Knowledge: You can tackle technical aspects of running a website, including managing hosting, plugins, security maintenance, page load speed/optimization and tracking scripts.
- Marketing Interest: Experience with marketing tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics 4, HotJar, Wistia and other digital channel tools will put you ahead for this role—as will any knowledge or experience working in digital marketing.
- Awesome Project Management Skills. From creative brief to final delivery, you know how to juggle projects and get them over the finish line with minimal oversight. You work efficiently, thanks to your battle-tested design process, which helps get everyone on the same page to avoid big revisions later. You’re also extremely organized, which helps you keep your priorities (and our design files) in check.
- Communication Chops. Getting the best outcomes requires you to guide stakeholders in the right direction. You’ll present rationales for your design decisions and obtain buy-in from peers and senior stakeholders prior to final execution. Your consultation skills are second to none, and you know how to handle constructive feedback to move projects forward.
- Creative and Collaborative Mindset. If you like brainstorming and bringing a unique angle to everything you do—and have a portfolio full of work that proves it—you’ll fit right in on our passionate team. Bonus points if you’re familiar with Asana and Miro.
Where You'll Work

We recognize that all too often, potential candidates don’t apply for a position simply because they don’t hit every single criteria included in the job description—particularly members of underrepresented groups.
Whether or not your experience checks off all the boxes on a job posting, we still encourage you to apply to ensure that your application receives a review from our team. We understand that a resume can only showcase so much during the applicant stage, so we've created prompts in the application for you to share more about yourself. If you've made a career transition (or a few!), you’re self taught in a new role, or you have skills/experience you’d like to highlight, we want to hear more about what you could bring to the table.
