Loopio is looking for a passionate and endlessly curious Software Developer to join our talented Software Engineers in our AI acceleration team. You’ll be on a mission to unleash the power of AI features to our customers and help them efficiently complete high quality responses. If you are a passionate software engineer who always looks at opportunities to improve your mastery, and enjoys working in a fast paced collaborative environment, you will be successful in this role.
This role requires close collaboration with teams across Canada, the UK, and India. To accommodate the time zone differences, you will be expected to work from 11 am - 7:30 pm IST
What You'll Be Doing
- Work closely with Data Scientists, Machine Learning engineers and software developers to help build and integrate AI solutions and related workflows into the platform.
- Focusing closely on customer feedback and embracing a user-centric approach
- Collaborating closely with our Product Managers and Product Designers in an agile environment to bring features to life and iterate on them based on our customers' feedback.
- Mentor and coach others, providing technical guidance and helping build an environment of knowledge-sharing and encouraged feedback
- Participating in technical design discussions and technical decision making.
What You'll Bring to the Team
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience writing test cases using upstream testing practices (unit, functional, E2E, etc.)
- Understanding of web applications with foundational development experience in both back and front end
- Knowledge of the inner workings of back-end APIs and how to develop them
- Proficient in building and designing RESTful APIs
- Experience utilizing PHP and MySQL
- Familiarity and experience working with ML solutions is a plus
- Experience in the following is a plus: Typescript, AWS, Cypress, Elasticsearch
Where You'll Work
- Loopio is based in Canada with hub regions around the world. Right now, our employees (or Loopers, as we call ourselves!) live and work in Toronto, Vancouver, London, and Gujarat.
- Loopio is a remote-first workplace because we recognize the advantages of working flexibly. Our India/UK hub employees live and work remotely around London, UK / Gujarat, India and work according to regular business hours in their timezone unless otherwise stated.
- You’ll collaborate with your teams virtually across the UK, India, and North America (we’re just a Zoom call and Slack message away!) and have established core sync hours and focus time during the workday to enable us to work smarter together. Additionally, we encourage asynchronous collaboration to effectively work as a global #OneTeam!
