GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group LLC is a leading provider of specialty professional and advisory services, including forensic accounting and litigation support, bankruptcy and restructuring, transaction support services, retained executive searches, and compliance risk, and resilience consulting.

GlassRatner works with law firms, lenders, private equity sponsors, and companies of all types on complex business challenges such as pursuing a fraud investigation or corporate litigation, planning and executing a major acquisition or divestiture, , or managing through a business crisis or bankruptcy. GlassRatner employs approximately 200 team members located across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

We are seeking a full-time Director for our Los Angeles (Century City), California Office.

Duties of this position include the need to:

  1. Lead and support client engagements involving, business disputes, economic damage calculations, , litigation support (with a strong emphasis on intellectual property), and valuation.
  2. Provide expert analysis in IP-related litigation, including:
    • Patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret disputes
    • Calculation of economic damages such as lost profits, reasonable royalties, and unjust enrichment
    • Valuation of IP assets for litigation, licensing, or transactional purposes
    • Assessment of licensing agreements, royalty structures, and market comparables
    • Analysis of IP portfolios and competitive landscapes
  3. Draft expert reports, rebuttal reports, and client communications related to litigation and financial analysis.
  4. Manage client-related administrative tasks, including billing and collections.
  5. Participate in and lead personal and professional development initiatives.
  6. Contribute to business development and marketing efforts, particularly in the IP litigation space.
  7. Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff members.
  8. Assist with firm administrative functions as needed.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  2. MBA, Master’s in Accounting, CPA, or active candidacy for one of these credentials.
  3. 7–10 years of experience in accounting, bankruptcy, forensics, corporate finance, or litigation support.
  4. Demonstrated experience in intellectual property litigation support, including damages analysis and IP valuation.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  6. Strong analytical skills, including the ability to develop and review complex financial models and dynamic spreadsheets.
  7. Excellent writing and presentation skills, especially in the context of expert witness support.
  8. Solid understanding of key operational performance drivers in business.
  9. Strong technical accounting knowledge, including GAAP.
  10. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  1. Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to learning, problem-solving, and staying current on industry trends and legal developments.
  2. Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing staff.
