Your Mission
To become Level’s Accounting Solutions Manager by:
Engaging in client calls, bookkeeping and advisory services with highest levels of quality service as possible
Preparing & reviewing journal entries by reconciling them to supporting documentation, for example preparing the payroll journal entry by using a client's payroll register for a specific period
Co-creating and updating SOPs for managing clients and employees so the same levels of quality service are delivered at scale
Growing and managing a team that delivers these services
Your Responsibilities
You’ll help Level meet the needs of their clients and help the clients understand the value of Level by upskilling the client’s management team to make intelligent, data driven decisions.
Understand in detail how Level’s bookkeeping and CFO services work
Analyze a business’s costs, revenues, and other financial records to understand their business and bookkeeping needs
Provide advice to business owners on how to set up their bookkeeping processes, estimates, and budget
Work cross functionally with the executive and product teams to understand what drives complexity in the bookkeeping and CFO service processes and how that should be addressed through improvements, pricing and the product
Sourcing, training and eventually managing a team with the same responsibilities as above
Experience
You have deep technical knowledge of accounting, e.g. from a relevant degree or other experience
3+ years of progressive accounting experience, CPA preferred
Construction industry and/or Big 4 experience
Bookkeeping & running payroll for a small business using accounting software, QuickBooks preferred
Located in Canada or US (we work remotely)
Tax knowledge is a bonus

You are highly detail-oriented, enabling you to take into account all relevant considerations when determining how to best meet a customer’s needs
Highly analytical with ability to consume and process large amounts of unstructured information
Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans
Advanced Excel/GSheet modeling skills with an ability to own complicated models end-to-end
Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance
Strategic thinker and ability to independently carry out rigorous problem solving
Strong interest in technology
Salary & Benefits
Salary: $70,000 - $100,000/year
