Job description

As a Marketing Designer at Lendesk, you’ll report to the Director of Design and become a key member of the design team while collaborating closely with the marketing team to create outstanding communication materials—this means:

  • You’ll design a variety of materials, including marketing and sales collateral, pitch decks, website creatives, social media assets, and workflow diagrams, all while maintaining visual consistency and high-quality standards for our brand.
  • You’ll write clear, compelling copy for product features and marketing initiatives such as email drips and landing pages, and simplify complex ideas into digestible concepts without losing important nuances.
  • You’ll conduct customer, market, and competitive research in collaboration with the marketing, sales, business, and product departments as part of a highly cross-functional team.
  • You understand marketing principles and practices, and create designs that not only look great but also drive business goals and marketing objectives.
  • You’ll clarify project requirements and communicate your thoughts and ideas clearly, while helping others do the same.
  • While your primary focus will be on marketing and communication, you’ll be joining a close-knit multidisciplinary design team. You’ll have the opportunity to spread your design wings by working on product copy, assets, and investigating new tools or processes to bring into the team.
  • You’ll both facilitate and participate in our workshops, brainstorm sessions, design reviews, and support other team members, contributing to the design team’s culture.
  • You’ll be able to actively contribute to our evolving company culture—whether engaging with the social committee or showcasing your creativity by digitally illustrating endearing caricatures of coworkers during Friday all-hands meetings.

Skills and experience

  • You have 2+ years of professional experience designing interactive and print assets for promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • You have a strong background in visual design and branding, with skills across various design disciplines such as graphic design, illustration, motion design, and video editing.
  • You are proficient with the typical design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • You are an excellent communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys collaboration with smart, talented people.
  • You work effectively as part of a team, while also taking initiative to independently push projects across the finish line.
  • You have experience in project management and coordination with external vendors. Experience in managing social accounts is a plus.
  • You’ve got a sharp eye for details and a portfolio showcasing real-life examples of your design work.

Lendesk is committed to offering competitive salaries to all our team members. This role has a salary range of $55,500–$90,000 which accounts for the skills you’ll bring to the team, the impact you’ll have on the business, and the growth you’ll experience in the role. Throughout your time at Lendesk we’ll continue to have conversations about your career development and you’ll have the opportunity to build an amazing career with us.
