The Opportunity

The Manager, Corporate Finance is responsible for supporting key financing initiatives within Ledn, both to optimize the capitalization of our product offerings, as well as assist in raising equity and debt capital for Ledn at the corporate-level.

This full time position, reporting to our VP of Finance, will work closely with our finance team, as well as our institutional and operations teams to act as a centralized resource for the overall financial structure of our organization.

This role involves market research, financial modeling, competitive analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to help execute strategic objectives that will accelerate the company’s expansion and market positioning.

About the Role

• Supporting all key financing initiatives within Ledn, the role will be responsible for:
• Financial Analysis & Modeling: Build, maintain, and update financial models to support decision-making on capital structure, investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Building and maintaining Ledn’s investor presentations to communicate Ledn’s vision, progress to date and future growth.
• Maintaining our corporate dataroom to ensure accurate responses to investor and partner due diligence activities.
• Develop and maintain the financial model to forecast financial performance by:
• Monitoring and analyzing key business drivers.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to gather input and set assumptions for forecast.
• Performing sensitivity and scenario analysis to evaluate the financial impact of various strategic options.
• Establishing and monitoring financial forecasts for Board and investor reporting, including variance analysis of actual vs. forecast results.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with other groups such as legal, tax, and operations to ensure the accuracy of financial data and strategic alignment across business units.
• Investor Relations: Maintaining investor reporting files and responding to investor inquiries.
• Ad-hoc Financial Projects: Assisting with other corporate finance projects, including capital structure optimization and risk analysis.

What You Bring to Ledn

• Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration.
• A minimum of 3 years in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital or in-house experience in Corporate Development.
• A self-starting, inquisitive and deterministic mindset that takes pride in delivering exceptional results.
• The ability to operate from a holistic, business wide perspective, while also understanding the importance of attention to detail in daily work.
• Significant experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets in financial modelling.
• Significant experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and/or Google Slides to build investor decks and presentations.
