YOUR MISSION
System Architect
- Drive the overall system architecture requirement and specifications process including interfaces and peripherals with flow-down (decomposition) of requirements to hardware and software sub-systems
- Examine new hardware (Camera\ Lidar \ Radar \ IMU \ CANBUS,etc.) according to system requirements
- Define and design the Architecture of the system
- Define the technical specs of the product
- Support customer programs in terms of: requirements, sensor sets, KPI, limitations
- Contribute to IP portfolio and write white papers
- Attend and speak at technical conferences, act as an ambassador of the organization
- Evangelize best practices and methodologies for the execution of product development projects
Collaborating with internal departments
- Contribute to a multifunction product development team with technical leadership and architectural vision
- Participate directly, as appropriate, in the design, development and inspection of the department's technical projects
- Support the product management and business development team on in-depth technical discussions with key customers and partners
The ideal person for this job will have
- Master's or doctoral degree in physics, electrical engineering or other relevant training
- Fifteen years in R&D or equivalent
- R&D experience with Sensors (Cameras, Radars, Lidar, etc )
- Expertise in sensor product development in an automotive environment - an important asset
- Ability to work on several complex projects simultaneously with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience in Model-based system engineering and system simulation - an asset
