JOB DESCRIPTION
The TDI Automation team’s mandate is to unlock and sustain business value through Intelligent Automation (IA). Once processes are in production, Day 2 Automation Team ensures automations remain stable, resilient, compliant, and continue to realize intended benefits at scale. This work is critical to protecting customer experience, operational efficiency, and capacity creation once automation solutions move into production.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digitization, Automation & Workflow, the Manager is responsible for leading Pan‑TDI Automation Day 2 operations, with accountability for the health, performance, governance, and ongoing value realization of the Digital Workforce (RPA and low‑code automations) across TDI. This individual will work closely with multiple stakeholders and teams including Enablement Platform, SCOE, Business partners, TDI Technology Services, Risk & Controls, and TD Insurance Shared Services Operations.
Together, we will ensure strong production stability, transparent performance reporting, effective incident and enhancement management, and continuous improvement of TDI’s automation ecosystem.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Provide seasoned specialized knowledge, advice, and guidance to stakeholders on Automations in production, specifically for Digital Workforce management through RPA (Blue Prism, UiPath) and PowerApps solutions.
• Own the operational health and performance of all TDI automations in production, including run-time monitoring, capacity management, and SLA adherence
• Lead incident, problem, and escalation management, ensuring timely resolution, root‑cause analysis, and clear communication to business and technology stakeholders
• Ensure strong Day 2 governance and controls, including audit readiness, attestations, artifact management, and compliance with TD risk and control standards
• Assess, prioritize, and manage Day 2 enhancements and change requests driven by application changes, business needs, or resiliency improvements
• Own and deliver Automation Day 2 KPI reporting and scorecards, including volumes processed, STP rates, FTE capacity creation, automation outages, and portfolio‑level insights
• Partner closely with Automation Day 1 delivery teams to ensure smooth Day 1 → Day 2 transition, operational readiness, and monitoring standards are met
• Play a key role in automation benefit realization and tracking, translating operational data into clear business insights for senior leadership
• Create a positive work environment and assume a prominent position on the leadership team by championing TDI’s mission, vision, and shared commitments

• Business acumen with the ability to distill complex operational data into actionable insights and executive‑level reporting
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present automation performance and risks clearly to senior stakeholders

• Proven ability to balance operational stability with continuous improvement and change
• Ability to influence and align multiple teams across a broad set of stakeholders and functional domains
• Ability to lead and deliver complex operational initiatives requiring specialist knowledge and cross‑functional coordination in a regulated environment
