About this position:
As an Influencer Development Specialist at Later, you will be responsible for sourcing leads and doing outreach to Influencers in the social commerce space.You will stay up to date with industry trends that result in potential acquisition opportunities for Later's affiliate platform, Mavely. Leveraging your creativity and outside the box thinking, you will craft personalized outreach to recruit, onboard, and grow Influencers. Persistency is key as you master the art of the follow up. You will source and stay organized and on top of potential leads by utilizing our customer relationship management (CRM) tool. You will utilize your people skills to pitch and sell influencers on our suite of offerings in an effort to bring them into the Mavely Influencer community. You will help educate and activate Influencers on our affiliate platform, and guide them through the onboarding flow. You will play an integral role in ensuring influencers have the best possible onboarding experience to Mavely and have the tools needed to succeed.
What you'll be doing:
Technical/ Execution:
- Perfect the Mavely sales pitch and effectively communicate value props.
- Leverage internal tools (CRM, listening tools, etc.) along with manually sourcing to generate your own leads.
- Craft unique outbound communication with the goal to acquire, onboard and grow Influencers.
- Schedule and lead phone/video calls with Influencers with the goal to convert them to the Mavely platform - through 1:1 calls and monthly onboarding webinars.
- Persistently follow up with leads and follow through on communication.
- Ability to clearly articulate and have a good understanding of the Influencers onboarding journey and guide them through it.
- Expected to troubleshoot Influencer issues, escalating where necessary.
- Attend industry events and trade shows.
Team / Collaboration:
- Hold strategy sessions to coach Influencers - from setting up their account to increasing their earning potential.
- Work collaboratively with Campaigns team, regularly recommending Influencers for brand campaigns.
Research/Best Practices:
- Gather competitive research and share internally.
- Keep up to date with industry and Influencer trends.
- Identify partnership opportunities that Later can tap into.
- Meet and exceed sales targets to propel the business forward.

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum 2-4 years of sales experience in an SDR or Account Executive role.
- A background and understanding in influencer marketing.
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Good presentation skills
- Strong understanding of social media
- Experience working in a customer relationship management tool (CRM) - HubSpot preferred
- Strong knowledge in Google Suite.

Our approach to compensation:
We take a market-based & data-driven approach to compensation. We leverage data from trusted third-party compensation sources to help us understand the market value of a role based on function, level, geographic location, and scope. We evaluate compensation bi-annually, including performance and market-related factors.
Our salaries are benchmarked against market Total Cash Compensation for the geographic location of our job posting. Compensation for some roles is structured as On Target Earnings (OTE = base + commission/variable) while for others it is structured as Salary only.
To comply with local legislation and ensure transparency, we share salary ranges on all job postings. Skills, experience and other factors help determine the final salary we offer which may vary from the original range posted.
Additionally, all permanent team members are granted stock options and are eligible to participate in various benefits plans as part of their overall compensation package.
Salary Range:
$50,000-$78,000 USD + bonus
*Co-op team members, independent contractors, and freelancers are not eligible for company benefits.
