The Role: As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and optimizing advanced mechanical components and systems for our state-of-the-art testing equipment. From initial concept to production-ready machines, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop groundbreaking solutions for the materials testing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design innovative mechanical systems using CAD software (SolidWorks).
- Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams for seamless product integration.
- Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, and design validation.
- Document design specifications, assembly instructions, and technical reports.
- Troubleshoot design challenges during prototyping and production.
- Continuously seek and implement design improvements for better performance and cost efficiency.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical design, particularly in automation or materials testing.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience with FEA tools.
- Deep understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing.
- Problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for clear technical documentation and teamwork.
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with automation and control systems.
- Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
- Knowledge of industry standards for materials testing.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly.
