The Role: As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and optimizing advanced mechanical components and systems for our state-of-the-art testing equipment. From initial concept to production-ready machines, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop groundbreaking solutions for the materials testing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design innovative mechanical systems using CAD software (SolidWorks).
  • Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams for seamless product integration.
  • Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, and design validation.
  • Document design specifications, assembly instructions, and technical reports.
  • Troubleshoot design challenges during prototyping and production.
  • Continuously seek and implement design improvements for better performance and cost efficiency.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
  • 6+ years of experience in mechanical design, particularly in automation or materials testing.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience with FEA tools.
  • Deep understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing.
  • Problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear technical documentation and teamwork.

Bonus Skills:

  • Familiarity with automation and control systems.
  • Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
  • Knowledge of industry standards for materials testing.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly.
