PRODUCT MANAGER

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our team. Reporting to the CTO, you will be responsible for championing the product’s success by aligning customer and business needs and balancing big-picture strategy with hands-on execution. You will oversee a team that includes Business Analysts, Product owner, and UX/UI Designer, while supporting a clearly defined strategy, product vision and stakeholder alignment. You will be part of a team that is self-motivated, highly collaborative, eager to learn and be challenged, and enjoys having fun.

What you will do

  • Manage the product lifecycle and lead product launches, including coordination and communication with necessary internal and external stakeholders
  • Define and drive product strategy to ensure it aligns with business goals, customer needs and market opportunities

  • Collaborate with leadership, clients, and internal teams to identify opportunities and shape the product roadmap
  • Manage, prioritize, and support the product features and requirements
  • Partner with UX to ensure user needs are front and center in product planning and design
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, product, technical, customer success, and sales to ensure we continually build and enhance products that meet the needs of our customers
  • Coordinate and analyze user testing and feedback loops to validate designs, prioritize enhancements, and ensure a user-centered product experience
  • Directly manage a small team of direct reports including Business Analysts, Product Owner, and UX/UI Designer by overseeing, supporting and mentoring them, providing guidance, context, strategic direction and decision-making support
  • Facilitate performance management of team members, providing feedback and ongoing support and development, including quarterly goal setting and regular review periods
  • Build relationships with Sales and Customer Success teams to gather strategic customer insights and needs
  • Provide support in a Business Analyst capacity ongoing, as needed, to ensure operational continuity
  • Engage with executive leadership to align product strategy with company goals, while providing regular updates and strategic insights to ensure transparency, gain buy-in, and inform high-level decision-making
  • Work closely with the technical team to understand system capabilities, provide context for requirements, and ensure feasibility and scalability of proposed solutions

  • A proven leader with experience managing a small team and the ability to demonstrate high emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills and influence, mentor and drive results through collaboration
  • A passionate advocate for user experience, data-driven decision making, and building scalable, usable software.
  • Naturally enthusiastic and curious about finding ways to work better and improve processes
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, proactively solves problems, understands how to prioritize workload and meet deadlines

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field) however, other combinations of education and experience will be considered
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Product Manager role within a software or technology company
  • Experience in the energy or mining sector is considered an asset
  • Experience supporting or leading cross-functional teams in an Agile environment is considered an asset
  • Proven ability to develop strategy, manage a roadmap, collaborate across teams, and effectively communicate recommendations to management
  • Familiarity with business analysis fundamentals and working closely with BA’s and PO’s
  • Experience with tools like Jira, User Pilot, Google Analytics, Figma, or similar is a plus
  • Knowledge of project management principles and agile methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – the ability to translate user needs into clear priorities
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, and competing deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
