About the opportunity:
Join the Data Science Business Intelligence team whose mission is to develop dynamic databases and utilize BI tools to generate user-friendly and interactive reports. Your role in this team is critical as you work on implementing sustainable solutions to deliver BI reports and conduct ad hoc analyses in a timely manner. In addition, the team is responsible for producing recurring measurement reports of Data Science models to track performance and provide key insights into market trends.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Collect and analyze complex information and data from a range of sources
- Establish and document all key reporting processes to ensure good control and governance and maintain a sole source of truth
- Gather requirements around KPI trends, revenue streams and classification to present complex data reports in a storytelling user-friendly way
- Write and execute store procedures to automate data refresh for reporting purposes
- Develop products that embed analytical solutions into interactive business intelligence reports/dashboards
- Measure the response of target vs control groups and support findings with statistical tests, wherever applicable
- Provide not just reports but actionable analytics with sound recommendations
- Demonstrate confidence and energy to work in a fast, ever-changing environment.
- Willingness to work under pressure, identify workarounds and make important decisions.
- Collaborate effectively with other key teams within Data Science and Consumer Marketing Group to ensure seamless knowledge sharing
- Present information using data visualization techniques for our emerging suite of Data Products
- Responsible for client-specific BI requirements
Who are you?

Excellent communication skills are a must, with the ability and confidence to build strong customer relationships and gain internal support. Time management skills are also essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.
Background and Experience:
- A university degree in a numerate discipline or equivalent
- 2+ years of work experience in related role, proven record of accomplishment in handling data extracts, validations, and visualization tasks
- Extensive experience in designing and developing with Tableau and database modelling, as well as solid understanding of statistics and data analysis
- MS SQL and Tableau skills are mandatory, experience in using analytical and visualisation techniques and tools like Alteryx would be desirable.
- Good verbal and written communication skills along with high attention to detail
- Working knowledge of AWS, Redshift or Python is advantageous
