Role Overview: Kobalt.io is seeking a creative, driven, and results-oriented Content Marketing Specialist to lead the creation of compelling multimedia content across a variety of channels. This role is instrumental in supporting our growth by generating high-quality inbound leads through engaging and informative content that educates, converts, and builds trust with our audience. As a key member of the Marketing team, you’ll craft and execute content strategies that align with our business goals, working closely with subject matter experts, sales, and client success teams. You'll produce a range of content types—including blogs, videos, social posts, infographics, email campaigns, and case studies—with the goal of fueling lead generation and nurturing prospects through the funnel.
Qualifications: To succeed as a Content Marketing Specialist at Kobalt.io, candidates should be creative, strategic, and results-driven. You’ll need to be confident bringing ideas to the table and adaptable across formats and channels. The ideal candidate has strong storytelling and communication skills, a solid grasp of content strategy and digital marketing fundamentals, and experience creating multimedia content that engages and converts. You should be comfortable using cloud-based tools like Google Workspace, project management platforms such as Monday.com, and content collaboration tools like Confluence. Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM and marketing automation systems is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
- Use both email and telecommunications to generate new business opportunities.
- Continuously seek and identify new prospects within Kobalt.io’s ideal customer profile by leveraging strategic content initiatives that attract, engage, and qualify the right audience.
- Conduct A/B test outreach and sales-related activities to identify best practices.
- Identify any new assets that need to be made to improve the prospect’s experience.
- Create, manage, and optimize multimedia content across digital channels (blog, social media, email, video, landing pages, etc.)
- Plan and execute content strategies that support SEO, lead generation, and brand visibility
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop stories, campaigns, and thought leadership content that reflects Kobalt.io’s voice and expertise
- Repurpose and repackage existing content to maximize reach and performance across platforms
- Monitor and analyze content performance to refine strategies and improve ROI
- Assist in managing marketing automation workflows and CRM content touchpoints (HubSpot experience a plus)
Qualifications:
- A completed or in-progress bachelor's degree in business or a related field of study, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in content marketing, journalism, digital marketing, or related roles
- Proven ability to create and distribute multimedia content (written, video, visual)
- Familiarity with SEO, marketing funnels, and lead generation best practices
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Experience using CMS platforms, design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe), content analytics tools and other cloud software for a variety of tasks.
- Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment
- Strong willingness to learn and voice your opinions to strengthen the business.

Range: 60,000- 80,000 CAD
