Position: Sr Software Consultant/Lead – DevOps

Exp Req: 4-9 Years

Job Type: Permanent

Job Location: Remote (WFH)/Hybrid

Position Summary:

We are looking for a few ‘Sr. DevOps engineers’ who have strong working experience with AWS cloud services. An engineer should have served the role of Kubernetes admin, especially on EKS. Additionally, S/he should have exposure working with Docker, Terraform, Helm, Istio, Aurora Postgres, Argo CD & service mesh.

Here is what is expected of you:

• Monitor CI/CD pipelines.

• Adherence to the quality process defined for the project

• Adherence to the operational process defined for the company

• Continuous updation of technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and external courses, reading manuals, accessing new applications, and investigating new technologies.

• Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the project's needs.

• Enhancing and maintaining work culture & environment.

Here is what you will need to be successful: Technical:

• DevOps, CI/CD, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Terraform & python Scripting etc.

• Expertise with AWS cloud services & EKS.

• Experience in Automation/Configuration Management: Python, Terraform, Terra grunt, CloudFormation, Ansible.

• AWS with common services/security (VPC/security. EKS, MSK, SMS, SES, Lambda, S3, RDS, Route53, IAM, ACM).

• Should have written the Ansible roles & have sound working of Docker containers.

• System Administration experience with Linux OS is a must.

• Working Knowledge of Helm charts, Istio, service mesh, etc. is required.

• Knowledge of Argo CD / Argo workflow.

• Deployment experience via tools like Jenkins/TeamCity.

• Observability stacks: Prometheus/Grafana, CloudWatch, New Relic, Humio, Pager Duty

Must Have Admin level knowledge on

1. AWS Cloud Services

2. AWS EKS

3. Ansible/Puppet/Chef

4. CI / CD Tools - Jenkins, Concourse, TeamCity, Bamboo, GitLab

5. Docker

6. Kubernetes administration and helm

7. Terraform or CFT or ARM

8. Cloud – AWS services

9. Argo CD, Istio, service mesh

10. Aurora Postgres

11. Communication

12. Troubleshooting/Monitoring/ELK/EFK/Splunk/Logging etc.

Preferable - CKAD certification, AWS Certifications etc.
