We’re looking for a Retention Marketing Specialist (Email + SMS + Referral) for Kt by Knix brand to manage, build, test and deploy retention marketing campaigns. This includes working closely with our referral, email and SMS service provider and taking the lead on the vendor relationship as well as focusing on advanced segmentation, strategizing and executing tests and using technology to personalize communications. This role is highly collaborative and will work closely with our Brand Marketing, Creative, and Customer Empowerment teams. We’re looking for an experienced Retention Marketer as this role will be the subject matter expert for all things related to referral, email and SMS campaign deployment at Knix.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the day-to-day, hands-on execution of all things email & referral,SMS campaign marketing This includes: planning, list selection, segmentation, customer profiling, targeting, email build and deployment.
  • Ensure high quality and error free implementation, testing and QA of email and SMS campaigns. Continuously review ways to improve the process to make it more efficient.
  • Lead and evolve the sophistication of the data and targeting strategy to ensure campaigns are as personalized and relevant to its audience as possible.
  • Frequently conduct A/B tests and analyze results to improve retention, conversion rate, and LTV
  • Build testing roadmap (subject line, send time optimization, content/creative, links, frequency, cadence), iterating and improving upon existing and new objectives
  • Manage creative briefing process and work closely with the members of Creative team to plan out all email and SMS campaigns keeping the customer at the center of all communications and content
  • Analyze campaign data and identify areas of improvement in Kt’s permission-based campaigns.
  • Own relationship with ESP to ensure optimization of the platform as well as projects and integrations meet milestones and deadlines
  • Report the health of the programs on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual cadence. Analysis will include engagement, conversion and subscriber stats
  • Partner closely with Customer Experience and Product teams to ensure campaigns are clear, inventory for products being promoted is available and prepare the Customer Experience team for email replies from subscribers.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to successfully deliver against the retention roadmap and company level OKRs.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in email marketing, e-commerce experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in re-engagement and retention strategies (customer acquisition is a plus!)
  • Previous experience working closely with ESP and SMS vendors (Klaviyo, Attentive, and/or Shopify is a plus!)
  • Working knowledge of HTML and/or SQL is a plus
  • Proven track record of conducting A/B test design and analysis
  • Experience working with Creative to whip up customer centric creative concepts and copy for email and SMS marketing campaigns
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments across teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Enthusiasm is a must
  • Stays up to date on competition and trends, and brings new ideas to the table constantly
  • Strong desire and curiosity to learn, continuously improve and expand skills
