The Opportunity
- Design and produce materials across all Knix marketing channels, including email, digital and traditional advertising, and in-store signage.
- Collaborate with members of the Knix Creative team (Copywriters, Associate Creative Directors, Creative Director) to develop marketing concepts.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather insights on initiatives, products, and customers, while also conducting independent research on trends influencing the intimates and apparel space.
- Maintain and evolve brand consistency by implementing design standards and contributing to ongoing updates of brand guidelines.
- Mentor other Graphic Designers and provide a strong design lens across all assets in progress.
- Translate high-level concepts into compelling visual assets.
- Take ownership of large-scale design projects that require thoughtful systems and comprehensive design thinking.
- Manage projects and deliverables in alignment with campaign and launch calendars.
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience in Graphic Design within a marketing or advertising environment.
- Mastery of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Demonstrated excellence in digital design, print and production.
- Strong typography and layout skills across both digital and traditional mediums.
- Experience with branding.
- Additional experience in photo retouching, packaging design, or motion animation is an asset.
- Retail or related industry experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead and deliver end-to-end design projects, from concept through final production, finishing, and asset export.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to bring abstract ideas to life.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage a wide range of tasks and priorities.
- Post-secondary diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
