The Opportunity
Lead daily team huddles and floor execution, reinforcing sales priorities and building the leadership skills needed to independently drive results.
Coach, develop, and motivate associates through real-time feedback and hands-on floor leadership, strengthening people leadership capability in preparation for full store ownership.
Lead high-impact huddles that set a direct, performance-first tone for the day, ensuring every team member knows exactly how they contribute to the mission through their metrics.
Balance floor leadership, reporting, and sales execution to support sales planning and a strong customer experience.
Command the floor during peak segments, instilling a sense of urgency and high-energy 'bias for action' in your team to convert every opportunity into a win.
Support hiring, onboarding, and training, building experience in talent selection and development of sales-driven, customer-obsessed teams.
Contribute to store performance and target achievement, using sales, staffing, and KPI insights to make informed decisions and adjust execution throughout the day.
Takes the lead during high-traffic periods, confidently leading the floor and making real-time decisions that protect service standards.
Champion a comfortable, inclusive end-to-end client experience, modelling Knix values and setting the standard for customer-first leadership.
Translate priorities into clear, actionable direction for the team, building readiness to independently lead change and drive execution as a future Store Manager.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a retail lead or management role, supporting a similar-sized team and store volume.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams to drive business results while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Experience recruiting, onboarding, and retaining high-performing teams, consistently meeting or exceeding store KPIs.
Strong capability to balance floor leadership, reporting, and sales execution, with exposure to sales planning and performance management.
Analytical and adaptable, using sales, staffing, and KPI insights to make real-time decisions, especially during high-traffic periods.
Alignment with Knix values, delivering a comfortable, inclusive end-to-end client experience; experience with community events is an asset.
Eligibility Requirements
Must have the necessary work authorization to be legally employed in Canada and be 18 years of age or older
Ability to lift and handle packages weighing up to 25 lbs
Ability to move efficiently through the store for long periods of time and as needed for an entire shift.
Open and flexible availability to ensure business needs are met including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation
- Salary starting at $51,000.00
