The Opportunity
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of sales, marketing, and customer data to uncover meaningful trends, untapped opportunities, and areas for optimization.
- Set consistent standards for forecasting and tracking marketing spend (marketing campaign and UTM parameter taxonomies), execution, and performance across multiple marketing channel teams and finance groups.
- Build and maintain marketing channel spend datasets within a SQL database for reporting and analysis.
- Produce data visualizations and manage enterprise BI and reporting on marketing performance, utilizing tools such as Looker (LookML) and Looker Studio.
- Maintain integration and quality assurance between the multi-touch attribution (MTA) tool and various platform partners.
- Use data-driven insights to recommend optimizations for marketing campaigns to improve performance and ROI.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a Marketing Analytics role.
- Deep understanding of marketing analytics (MTA, first/last click, MMM, incremental testing), with 2+ years of hands-on experience measuring the efficiency of marketing activities.
- Experience in e-commerce and retail data analysis, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights.
- Experience developing enterprise-level business intelligence reporting (Looker preferred, or Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, Sisense, etc.).
- Strong in SQL and proficient in programming in a statistical language (R or Python).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and rigor in analysis.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to distill complex insights into clear, compelling narratives.
