The Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Knix’s Content Creator Program across the various team levels within the greater communications department. This person has an eye for detail and keeps up to date with the news and popular trends. This role will work closely with our partnerships (content creator) team to help execute the various projects and product launches the team works on. This is inclusive of supporting strategies of partnerships, fostering ongoing relationships on behalf of the brand, community management, event planning, product seeding, reporting, admin and budget tracking.

The Opportunity

  • Coordinates and executes seeding opportunities amongst the press, notable partnerships, and influencers, and other tastemakers.
  • Liaise with Operations to ensure seamless and timely execution of product seedingsMaintains and build contact lists
  • Manages and executes gift card requests and tracking.
  • Assist with inbound press and sample requests and liaise with PR agencies to fulfill press requests
  • Continuously monitor content creator coverage and log into the CRM management system.
  • Support the larger team with the development of work back schedules, calendar management and post reports.
  • Brand events coordination - Onsite support with coordination of vendors and event execution
  • Development of event/project recaps and postmortem.
  • Assist with research into potential partnerships, influencers and Ambassadors
  • Assist with community management on Knix socials for the wider team accounts.
  • Maintain team Internal project management page and key dates.
  • Assist with the creation of collateral materials needed for brand projects like signage, inserts, bags etc…

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications or relevant field1-2 years of work experience at an agency or in-house marketing team
  • Expertise in Cision, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Drive
  • Previous experience with influencer relations and brand partnerships
  • Demonstrated understanding of the media landscape in both the Canadian and US markets
  • Strong time management, the ability to remain proactive, and keeping stakeholders accountable for any deliverables required for launches
  • Vetting press and partnership opportunities while ensuring all opportunities align with company values
  • Ability to think critically, utilize subject matter expertise, and problem-solve
