Reporting to the Senior Director of Creative & Content, the Director of Creative Operations will be the go-to point person for a well-oiled in-house Creative Team, leading the processes, resources and budgets for all marketing activities. The ideal candidate is a confident leader who can manage multiple overlapping projects, priorities, and skill sets with ease. This is a net-new position which will play a critical role in establishing processes and campaign workflows for our mighty in-house creative team!

The Opportunity

  • Develop streamlined processes and campaign workflows for core projects and ad hoc needs.
  • Manage workload and capacity within the Creative Team.
  • Ensure strategic parameters, clear briefs, and deliverables from cross-functional partners are enforced.
  • Guide timeline feasibility and overcome hurdles across departments.
  • Solve barriers at the directorial level, maintaining a strategic overview of all projects for timely and excellent completion.
  • Lead successful vetting, business case development, and integration of new systems.
  • Take ownership of departmental budgeting and invoice reconciliation.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding of creative team members.
  • Manage contract details accurately, collaborating closely with the People Team.
  • Supervise cross-functional operations team members, working closely with other departmental operations team managers.

About You

  • You are detail-oriented and organizationally obsessed.
  • You understand multiple channels and can resource skillsets and talent accordingly.
  • You are well-connected within the creative industry and have contacts with freelance solutions across various needs.
  • Your strong time management skills enable you to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with multiple moving targets.
  • As a project manager, you possess the ability to see the big picture while managing every detail of a given initiative to ensure success.

  • Minimum 10 years experience in the Creative Advertising industry.
  • Experience leading delivery of 360 campaigns including print, digital, social and eCommerce etc.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong experience in budget management and resource allocation.
