Role Description

Klir is in search of a dedicated and seasoned Enterprise Account Executive to become a vital part of our noble quest to enhance the quality of water and firmly establish Klir as the unquestioned leader in software solutions for the water industry. In this role, you will directly report to the Director of Sales through the Chief Revenue Officer and have the opportunity to align yourself with a dynamic, well-funded team that is experiencing rapid expansion. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in our journey to revolutionize the water sector.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategically Develop Your Territory:
    • Take ownership of your territory as your personal business.
    • Formulate a comprehensive territory plan by analyzing existing key customers, staying abreast of market trends, and crafting strategies to meet and surpass revenue targets.

  2. Collaborate with your BDR:
    • Partner closely with your dedicated Business Development Representative (BDR) to identify and cultivate new opportunities within accounts within your territory.
    • Embrace cold calling as an essential means of building your sales pipeline.

  3. Deliver the Klir Story and Platform:
    • Present the compelling narrative of Klir and conduct demonstrations of the Klir platform, utilizing a "Challenger" solution-sale approach to drive engagement and interest.

  4. Achieve Sales Targets:
    • Consistently meet or exceed your monthly and quarterly sales targets.
    • Leverage your skills to bring Klir products to both new and existing accounts.

  5. Balance Short-term Results with Long-term Vision
    • Focus on generating short-term results while maintaining a long-term perspective, aiming to enhance overall revenue generation.

  6. Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
    • Work in coordination with your BDR, Revenue Operations Director, Marketing team, and Customer Success team members to deploy the right resources for closing deals.

  7. Showcase Value to Key Stakeholders:
    • Effectively communicate and sell the value of Klir to key stakeholders during complex sales cycles.

  8. Consistently Exceed Goals:
    • Surpass activity, pipeline, and revenue goals on a quarterly basis through diligent effort and strategic planning.

  9. Maintain Exceptional CRM Hygiene:
    • Diligently track and update all opportunity and customer details in the CRM, including use case, purchase timeframes, next steps, and accurate forecasting.

Requirements:

  • Proactive Sales Instinct: Demonstrates a hunter mindset with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Enterprise SaaS sales.
  • Consistent Quota Achievement: Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas over the past 5 years.
  • Navigating Complexity: Exhibits the ability to effectively navigate complex organizations and cultivate relationships with key decision makers.
  • Proven Experience in Multi-Stakeholder High-Value Sales: Previous achievements in closing complex sales involving multiple decision makers, with an average Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) ranging from $50,000 - $500,000.
  • Quick Technology Adaptation: Strong capacity to swiftly grasp and adapt to new technologies and concepts.
  • Excellence in Guiding SaaS Novices Through the Buyer’s Journey: Exhibits a strong ability to lead individuals who are new to SaaS product procurement through the complexities of the buyer’s journey, facilitating a seamless transition to SaaS adoption.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Capable of thriving within a high-energy sales team environment while fostering a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Effective Communication: Possesses positive and energetic phone skills, exceptional listening abilities, and proficient written communication skills.
  • Innately Curious Mindset: Demonstrates a natural and insatiable curiosity that drives a continuous quest for knowledge, exploration, and a deep understanding of diverse subjects and industries.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and maintain motivation while operating remotely.
  • Startup Experience: Previous experience at an early stage startup or a demonstrated history of success in the initial phases of an enterprise sales team is a valuable asset.
