WHO WE ARE
At Kidoz, we build privacy-first technology that helps brands and app developers connect with mobile audiences in a way that’s safe, thoughtful, and effective. We focus on contextual advertising - not tracking people or collecting personal data - because we believe relevance shouldn’t come at the expense of trust.
We’re a growing, globally distributed team of builders and problem-solvers who care about doing things the right way. Our platform reaches hundreds of millions of users each month, and we’re proud to work with partners who value both performance and responsibility. If you’re excited about modern adtech with strong principles and real impact, you’ll feel at home here.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You’ll be responsible for keeping our product development moving forward - clearly, predictably, and with quality front and center. You’ll work closely with engineering, QA, product, and design to plan releases, remove blockers, and continuously improve how we build and ship software.
This role blends hands-on project management of the Engineering team with close interaction with the QA function, so you’ll play a key role in both delivery and quality across the platform.
- Planning, tracking, and driving software releases from requirements through QA and production.
- Collaborating closely with engineers, designers, producers, and QA to align scope, timelines, and priorities.
- Owning project planning, estimation, scheduling, risk tracking, and progress reporting.
- Running or participating in daily standups, planning sessions, and delivery check-ins.
- Identifying process gaps and recommending improvements to increase delivery speed and quality.
- Ensuring development workflows align with data privacy requirements, including COPPA and GDPR.
- Adapting to shifting priorities while keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery processes and documentation standards.
- Provide insights on existing tooling and workflow efficiency and recommend improvements.
- Monitor project KPIs and provide visibility into key metrics, blockers, and delivery timelines.
- Leading retrospectives to identify areas for process or tooling improvement.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of operational projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality execution
- Track project milestones and hold owners accountable to timelines, action items, and quality standards
- Familiarity with advertising platforms (e.g., DV360, Campaign Manager, Meta, TikTok, Google Ads) a plus
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THE FIRST YEAR
In your first 6–12 months, success in this role looks like confidently owning delivery workflows across active projects from intake through release, creating clear and structured requirement documents and user stories based on technical input or high-level functional needs from Technical, Operational, and Commercial teams.
You build strong relationships across Engineering and QA, provide clear visibility into objectives, timelines, risks, and team bandwidth, and set realistic expectations on what can be delivered.
You are comfortable speaking to active projects, explaining what has been released, how it works, and the business impact behind it. You proactively identify risks, reduce ambiguity in requirements, and continuously improve how we scope, plan, ship, and maintain quality across the organization.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
You’re organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable working across disciplines. You care about process - but not process for process’ sake - and you know how to balance structure with flexibility in a fast-moving environment.
- You have 7+ years of experience in project management or production on software development teams.
- You have experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, QA, design, and product.
- You have strong working knowledge of Jira or similar project management tools.
- You’re familiar with multiple project management methodologies and know when to apply them.
- You have a solid understanding of risk management, change management, and release coordination.
- You bring excellent attention to detail and are comfortable maintaining documentation and project status.
- You communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally, in English. (We are a global team and our primary working environment is in English)
- You’re proactive, resourceful, and self-directed in how you approach your work.
- You have the technical fluency to ramp up quickly on new systems and workflows.
- Nice to haves: Familiarity with advertising platforms (e.g., DV360, Campaign Manager, Meta, TikTok, Google Ads) a plus
