Ad Operations Programmatic Lead

This is a fully remote role, working with a global team in multiple time zones. Preference for candidates in the East Coast US time zone for optimal overlap with teams.

About the Role:

Within this role, you’ll be responsible for the ownership of the programmatic campaigns and oversee its implementation and day-to-day execution. The primary responsibilities of the role include the management of the programmatic accounts assigned in your portfolio engaging with the respective digital agency counterparts, clients, and external partners, along with working closely with internal teams (AdOps & Tech). You will also be expected to be the point of escalation for all incidents within the programmatic team including reporting, testing, and leading the troubleshooting with any tech dev team member

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Programmatic & AdOps wider team to execute programmatic campaigns that ensure the client's objectives are met with appropriate performance results.
  • Communicate effectively with partnerships and client stakeholders to ensure campaign alignment and success.
  • Comfortable setting up campaigns within SSP platforms such as Pubmatic, Xandr, and others, to maximize their traffic to the accounts needed.
  • Develop, implement, and manage programmatic in-app ad campaigns on both Kidoz and DV360/CM360 platforms.
  • Oversee the management of campaigns assigned to ensure they consistently meet or exceed client KPIs and lend support to day-to-day trading.
  • Escalate any issues or blockers you might be experiencing in your campaigns with our tech team to address them in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Own and improve the working relationships with members of the broader internal teams including, operations, tech, and sales.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and bottlenecks in the ad technology deployment process and develop solutions to address these challenges.
  • Keep key stakeholders including clients and teams updated on campaign performance through regular and on-demand reporting and status meetings
  • Participate in relevant ongoing discussions with the Dev Team regarding the technical roadmap and current status of technical implementations related to programmatic trading to optimize and troubleshoot campaigns efficiently.
  • Develop best practices that improve the quality or efficiency of work within an account or broader programmatic team
  • Elaborate reports to show campaign performance and results to share internally and externally with the client.

Your Qualifications:

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, or Advertising; OR equivalent professional work experience.
  • 5+ Years of relevant career experience, with 3+ years’ experience trading programmatic campaigns at an agency, brand, SSP, DSP, or Ad Network strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of ad-serving technologies (including app-ads.txt, sellers.json, OpenRTB, Exchanges, and SSPs)
  • Strong understanding of DV360/CM360 platforms and their advertising tools.
  • Proficient in analytics tools and able to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Understanding and familiarity with key industry concepts and trends.
  • Advanced MS Excel and/or Google Sheets User (Pivot Tables, Joining Data Sets, Complex Formulas, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills are required.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Natural curiosity, proactiveness, and entrepreneurship to continuously learn.
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Other Programmatic functions, Digital Analytics, Digital Planning, or client-side roles supporting a direct response may be considered for highly qualified candidates.
  • Experience with other databases, visualization tools, or coding languages is a plus.
